I just purchased the generator as an emergency backup power source. I haven't had to use it much yet, but it starts up very easily and provides all the power I need to operate two refrigerators and a few other things to keep the house functioning during a prolonged power outage.

I bought this six months ago and couldn't travel and use due to the pandemic. This week has seen record cold weather in North Texas and power outages with temps as low as 2degrees F. I used this to power the gas furnace in my house and saved broken pipes and grief. The start up was easy and the gen-set ran more than eight hours per tankful. Nice little machine!

I use the generator to power my travel trailer when I am boondocking. It is as quiet as Westinghouse advertises , and all the features work good. It is easy to crank, and starts on the first crank without using the choke when the engine is warm from use. When the engine is cold, it starts after a few cranks using the choke. Its light weight and compact size make it easy to transport and set up.

I bought this inverter/generator as a gift for my son. Prior to delivering it to him, I added the supplied oil to crankcase and added the recommended fuel. With little effort, the engine started after the third pull of the cord. The engine ran smoothly and with little exhaust noise for 20 min, after which I shut it down. Very pleased with the performance of this machine. I will probably buy one for myself!

After looking at getting a generator, reading reviews and making a lot of comparisons. It seemed like a no brainer to purchase the Westinghouse IGen2200. For the cost savings over the Honda and from all indications being just as reliable and quiet I purchased it. I have not been disappoint. It runs great, generates all the power I have needed quietly and efficiently. We use it for camping, but will use it around the house as well if we need to when the power is out. This is a great small and quiet unit.

I bought this a few weeks ago for our off grid cabin. It works wonderfully and is so quiet! We have been able to run a dorm refrigerator, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, all of the lights, and plan to use it for a small AC unit this summer. Very happy. My only complaint - the very first time we removed the right panel to add the engine oil, one of the clips holding the panel in place broke. I have some serious concerns that this will not be robust long-term, and I'm wondering how worried I need to be.

We bought a pair of 1Gen2200 generators so we could use them individually with small loads and pair them up for larger loads. What a terrific idea! We're very pleased. These units are lightweight, whisper quiet, and easy to start. We couldn't ask for more.

Generator weighs only 50 pounds when filled with fuel and it starts easily. It is very easy to pick up and carry. It is also very quiet compared to other ones that I have had. Also I was pleased with the heavy duty packaging, and that it came with a funnel and tools. This compact generator will definitely be very handy to use when a power outage occurs.

My son bought it for me for Christmas and have not been able to use it for our ice eater at our duck lease for the past 2 years due the drought in Missouri. I was finally able to use it to run a pump to pump out a neighbor's basement after a broken water pipe thawed out a few days after the deep freeze we had. It worked great and he was impressed with the power and the compact size.

Just bought this and have finished a break in procedure. Very easy to start and runs smoothly. Adjusts to load changes and performs as advertised. However, not so much with the noise level. Supposed to be 52 dbA at some un-specified operating condition. I measured 60 dbA 30' away and 65 dbA next to the generator while running with about 500 watt load in eco mode. Not what I would call "Extremely Quiet". Best noise level was inside home (windows & doors closed) was 46 dbA. That is what I would consider "Extremely Quiet". For emergency use OK because of the price, for camping not OK.
