Just gave her the first start. Took a few pulls to get it going with some sputtering, but ran smooth and quietly after it settled and got warm. Shut it down after an hour, let it cool, then decided to see how many pulls would get her going again(took 2 pulls, and sputtered for a few seconds then started). Also, my air filter was kind of chewed up upon inspection(looks like part of it got caught in the screw during assembly) I cannot complain too much. Build quality is great, and for the price it was a great value for money. I would have rated 5 stars but I am disappointed that I got the wrong user manual. I received a manual for an igen4500 instead of the igen2200 that I ordered. Bummer. If anyone is actually reading this from the company, please send me my correct user manual and a spare air filter.Thank you

Oil was included with generator thoughtfully and gas was put in - away we go. I have only started it up which was done quite easily but have not run it for a long time yet. I will come back in and give a more detailed report on its performance which if anything like the simplicity of starting up should be positive. Looking forward to a long and good experience with Westy.

unpacked, followed instructions provided for startup, oil and funnel provided, added non-ethanol gasoline, turned to choke setting, 2nd pull it was running !! ran as prescribed for break-in, handled load to perfection, only surprise is the noise level is a little louder than expected.

Great system, we bought the generator WH22000 for Hurricane Florence. this little one was running my refrigerator and charging all our phones, tablets and laptop without hesitation, extremely quiet and the economy is awesome. Love it, thinking about getting the iGen4500 for the next Hurricane season.

I got this for a small rv and didn't require a lot of power. The biggest consideration for me was weight and just enough power. Needed enough power just to provide for an ac air unit on small rv. Also getting older knew I couldn't lift up heavy equipment like I use to

I wanted a generator that was able to do two things. First, it needed to be small enough and quiet enough to take on camping trips. Second, it needed to have enough capacity to minimally get me through a power outage at home. These are conflicting priorities which I can fulfill with this generator. Setup out of the box was straight forward. The unit was complete and no damage was visible. After setup, the generator started on the 5th pull. It does run quietly compared to open frame generators I have had in the past. It isn't light because generator components are not light. However, it is movable by hand and can be reasonably put in a vehicle without great difficulty or using up a great deal of space. It does have limited capacity because of the required portability for camping. It can still run enough items to survive a power outage fairly well. I tested it with lighting and fans quite successfully. It;s rated to handle microwave oven and other small appliances as well. Overloading it with a 1hp air compressor tripped the circuit breaker. Resetting is easy. Proper overload protection is vital for long term reliability. All-in-all a great little unit for a variety of situations.

The 2200 was simple to set up - access to the oil fill was quick. I added a splash of gas and was running in less than 10 minutes from un-boxing. I use this for general use during camping with the travel trailer and for miscellaneous use when a little power is needed to run some lights, charge batteries, etc.

I bought this product after Hurricane Ian, we had no power or electricity and the Westinghouse Inverter Generator2200 ( I Gen 2200 ) was of great help to us. I followed the instructions and it started immediately.We were able to run a Refrigerator Freezer, several lights , a fan, a small TV and charged our phones with the 2 USB Ports. The I Gen 2200 inverter was incredibly quiet compared to our neighbors generator. The I Gen 2200 was great on fuel, and oil and it's light weight made it easy to handle. I bought a matching blue10 gauge Westinghouse extension cord to match. Thank You Westinghouse!!!.

Generator came 6 weeks early and in great shape. I was afraid it would languish on a container ship all winter!! It was nicely packaged and directions were straight forward. Have not started it yet, I need to get fresh gas first! I'm sure it will be a smooth operator!

Love this thing. Went camping with some friends that had one and immediately knew I had to get one of my own! It ran all weekend long with a speaker and a pitboss hooked up and had some of our electronics charging with no issues. And it's so quiet we forgot it was even there.
