Since I've only used it one time, I can make no claims regarding long term reliability. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the build. Nothing looked chintzy, or cheap. It even came with a bottle oil, and a full set of printed manuals and other reference material. A rarity with today's products. My upper body strength is not the greatest, but I could carry it with my left arm without straining, I followed the clear quick start notes, and it started on the second pull. I was able to boil a pot of water in a 1000 watt pot while running a fan without a problem. I also checked that the 2 5volt USB ports worked. If this summer is anything like the last few, I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it.

I bought this generator as a back-up to power my sump pump if power goes out. Out of the box, it started right up. The instructions were clear and this little generator is easy for me to manage on my own. It runs perfectly and it much more quiet than I thought it would be. Completely satisfied!

I bought this unit to use with our travel trailer on trips where we may not have access to full hook ups. Tested it under simulated loads to power the A/C and lights. Works great! Quiet and powerful which are both great assets to have in a camping area.

Overall, iGen 2200 is a nice unit and easy to handle. The noise is not so loud during running. One minor issue, the manual uses the words (off, run, choke) while you can only find the symbols on the generator. For the new users, it is a little bit confusing.

I have a Honda 2000 generator that I paid much more than twice as much for and this compares very well with it. I ran them side by side to see if there was a noise difference and although the exhaust tone is a little different it is just as quiet. I have a friend that has used his a lot and it has been trouble free. The only thing so far is that the feet pads need to be changed to a non-marking rubber.

Very quiet operation. Plenty of power to operate what I need when we have a power outage. Easy to use with nice design. All plugs and controls are close together and easy to reach, making operation quick and easy. I especially like the automatic load sensing with the Efficiency Mode Switch.

I spent MONTHS researching this purchase. I read every review on every Inverter website that I could find. I watched seemingly endless hours of YouTube video reviews! I wanted value, yes, but more importantly I needed this device to be as close to silent as I could get... AND... trouble free. It was very helpful to read all about how this device was is great demand following the hurricane in Puerto Rico... they seemed to be seeking dependability for obvious reasons. Bottom Line... everyone I listened to seemed to be very happy with this device... for value reasons... for dependability reasons... AND for noise reasons. That was good enough for me... AND the fact that the Camo version stopped demanding a premium price! So far... after a month of intermittent use the Westinghouse iGen2200 satisfied all of my critical criteria and then some!

I bought this less than a month ago. It arrived in good shape. I have not completed my break in period, however it was easy to set up and easy to start. Hopefully this will be the ticket to keep me from losing a refrigerator full of food again. I just want to say again how easy it was to start as I am disabled and happy that I was able to start it.

Bought this generator primarily for off grid camping but it's come in handy for outdoor community events during the pandemic and now we're prepared to keep our refrigerator running and devices charged if we have power outages because of the ice storm in our region of the country.

We purchased the iGen2200 for drycamping in our travel trailer to power our CPAP machine. The start-up instructions were precise and the generator started the first time. I was really impressed by the roughly 12 hour run time on about a gallon of fuel. It was quiet enough that we could still watch TV and not be bothered by the soft hum of the motor. It is not strong enough to run the A/C unit in our trailer but that was not our primary use for this machine anyway. Overall, we are Happy Campers! :-))
