This is the quietest generator we have ever owned. You can stand next to it and speak to someone without having to raise your voice. We also love the ability to run a second generator to this to double our power. So far we are very happy with this. The size is perfect. We are using it with a cargo van for expediting. It is our emergency power source to recharge our batteries if we run low.

I BOUGHT THIS TO PROVIDE POWER TO MY HOME IN THE EVENT OF HURRICANES OR OTHER POWER FAILURES. IT STARTS RIGHT UP AND WORKS GREAT. I CAN RUN MY REFRIDGERATOR, LIGHTS. CELING FANS AND TV USING 1/7TH THE AMOUNT OF GAS MY OTHER GENERATOR TAKES. IT'S FAIRLY LIGHTWEIGHT, SO YOU CAN MOVE IT AROUND WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY. OH, DID I MENTION HOW MUCH QUIETER IT IS? YOU CAN HARDLY HEAR IT RUNNING OUTSIDE.

I bought this generator recently, so I havent used it too much. However, it was packaged well, and came with very clear instructions. After adding all fluids it fired up on about the 5th pull and idled perfectly. I have about 3 hrs on it now and everything is perfect. The ONLY thing that could be a con is its a little louder than I thought it would be, but still pretty quiet.

I will start by saying that this generator looks really cool, not like a machine. Second, it is quieter than I expected. Furthermore, it sounds smoothly, like a well oiled machine, no vibrations at all. I connected a space heater and it worked just fine. The only con I find is that is very heavy for standard size people, so moving it or placing it in the car might be difficult. Perhaps a couple of wheels like those in luggage would help. Overall I think it is good value for money.

Purchased a Westinghouse iGen2200 Portable Inverter Generator for periodic use while camping and at home. Upon receipt I found the generator to be well packaged and free from any shipping damage. In preparation for first time use I was happy to see the User Manual well written, organized, and detailed for transfer of knowledge on the product. First time start-up of the generator was simple requiring only one pull while unit was on choke setting. Each time of use thereafter the unit continues to start on the first pull. Purchased for use while camping its ease of transport weighing less than 50 lbs. and operating noise level has been very convenient. Aside from the top built-in carry handle allowing for easy movement it has provided a securing point for a cable lock. Additional liked qualities of the unit are its durable construction and fuel friendly setting. If looking for a portable generator, the Westinghouse iGen2200 is a great place to start for a reliable and trouble-free experience.

I bought this generator to use with our new camper. The service panel makes it easy to maintain and service. It starts easy and will be quiet enough for camp grounds. I haven't had a chance to run my air conditioner off it yet, but I did use it to cook some microwave popcorn and watch a movie in my driveway. Can't wait to go camping this spring.

This inverter generator is relatively light and easy to use. It stars on the first couple of pulls. The data center provides all the information you want. Voltage, frequency, runtime, fuel level and much more. I can confidently recommend this product!

Added supplied oil, gas and started on first pull. Runs quiet and operates fine, hooked up my travel trailer turned on lights & water pump no load noted then hit the microwave and the generator kicked in and kept running. This is perfect for camping in Colorado's back country camp sites.

Bought this as a backup for hurricane season and possibly for camping. Box was damaged upon arrival, but everything looked ok inside the box. The setup was easy with clear directions and everything needed for first use, except the gas...started on first pull. Pleased with purchase.

The Unit came packed good and I put oil and gas in to run it and it only runs with the choke on. If I turn the choke off it cuts off. I have a call in to Westinghouse and they said a tech would call in 3-5 business days. It's a good thing it's not an emergency right now.
