After the hurricane we needed power for the home , with this generator we were able to run the refrigerator , TV , some lights and two fans at nights .We are super satisfied with the performance and reliability of this generator at the time we needed electrical power the most Thanks

When I purchased the iGen2200 I expected it to a good quality unit. When I first used the unit when camping with friends, they had a high priced red generator. When I brought mine out they started to give me a bad time until I started the unit & they both stated it was quieter than the ones they had. After we ran for some time, they were once again amazed that mine ran much longer than the big bad red machine. I am extremely happy with this unit & intend on buying a second very soon.

Bought this small generator to use when my larger generator is not required. So far very happy. It came with engine oil, screwdriver (to remove side panel to get to oil fill spout) and spark plug tool. Filled generator with oil and non-ethanol gas and it started in a couple of pulls. It is very quiet and I should get many years of service from this unit. So far very pleased.

Box corner crushed on receipt. Product OK. Suggest more cushioning. -Good unboxing experience. -Good intuitive controls and product labeling.- Liked included: Oil, Funnel, and plug wrench.- would suggest adding screw driver. -Very good Technical documentation. Appreciated Schematic, Parts list, exploded drawings, and valve lash adjustment instructions. Kudos to your Tech Writers. - Experienced difficulty removing service cover first time. There is no cover feature to aid removal.- Caused slight cosmetic blemish from prying with screwdriver.- Suggest addition of designated "pry points" or other feature to facilitate service cover removal.

I was going to purchase a Honda generator until I read a Consumer Report article comparing it to the Westinghouse iGen2200. The Westinghouse was rated the same for half the price. So far it has been a breeze to operate and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Just purchased and performing break-in. Generator produces the advertised output. Easy start. Generator is a little noisier than I expected but not bad. At lower loads it is quieter. Just needed a small portable unit to take to events and tailgates, with an extension cord and putting on the other side of the vehicle the noise is not bad. All in all a good little unit.

I spent MONTHS researching this purchase. I read every review on every Inverter website that I could find. I watched seemingly endless hours of YouTube video reviews! I wanted value, yes, but more importantly I needed this device to be as close to silent as I could get... AND... trouble free. It was very helpful to read all about how this device was is great demand following the hurricane in Puerto Rico... they seemed to be seeking dependability for obvious reasons. Bottom Line... everyone I listened to seemed to be very happy with this device... for value reasons... for dependability reasons... AND for noise reasons. That was good enough for me... AND the fact that the Camo version stopped demanding a premium price! So far... after a month of intermittent use the Westinghouse iGen2200 satisfied all of my critical criteria and then some!

I've only had it for a few days but I'm impressed by the amount of thought that went into the product design and documentation. These days you're more likely to get an online link than a physical manual, and then the "manual" is something hastily thrown together by someone less than fluent in English. Westinghouse, in contrast, put a lot of effort into an actual physical manual. The diagrams and instructions are very easy to follow. It's clear they put a lot of thought into making the product as easy to use out of the box as possible. Not only did it come with a bottle of oil, but there's a funnel and a screwdriver for accessing the engine compartment. You could reasonably assume the purchaser of a portable generator had a Phillips head screwdriver, but in the event one wasn't handy they included one in the kit. I'm impressed too by the attention to little details. Like engine compartment screws that cant fall on the ground and get lost. Like an oil cap molded with a twist to make it easier to turn. I added oil and gas, switched the dial to choke, and it started up after a couple of pulls. Could not be easier. If I worked at Westinghouse (I don't), I would be proud to be associated with this product. If this is representative of the work Westinghouse does, I will be looking for their brand on products in the future.

I really like this thing. Brand new, after adding oil and fuel, it took about 5 or 6 pulls and it starts up. After a minute, I move the dial from choke to run and it stabilized nicely. Then I started adding some big ticket items like coffee maker, space heater and hot plate. Took em like a champ. So far, this little thing is just the ticket!

This came to my house literally 25 hours after I ordered it. The directions were easy to read and understand. Totally solid product, and after filling with oil and gas, this generator started on the first pull. Very satisfied I bought this. Would recommend 100 percent.
