I purchased this generator in November of 2020 in anticipation of potential use over the winter. As of yet, I have not lost power and therefor have not tested the generator at battle speed in a real life situation. I have tested functionality powering my barn in a controlled environment and the generator did seem to provide all outputs as advertised. The overall product acceptability however will show over long term use. It is therefore difficult to leave a completely accurate rating at this time.

We ordered this generator in August and it was delivered in September. It arrived the Monday before Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf Coast. We were without power for many hours. I had done the break-in cycle on it when it arrived, so it was ready to go. We plugged our freezer and refrigerator into it and it hummed along like a champ. It used maybe half a tank of gas keeping our food cold during the outage. The generator is light enough to carry if you're reasonably fit. Wheels and a rolling handle might be considerations for future versions. It ran quietly. Our backyard has a privacy fence, and from the front yard you could barely hear the hum. Many reviews state that the generator started up on the first pull. Ours did not. It started up on the 4th. I plan to get a second unit in the future. We have a large 10,000 watt generator but it is very loud and not easily portable. Two of these iGens would power just about anything we'd need to run for a reasonable amount of time on less fuel.

I absolutely love my i2200. I run a baseball and softball academy and this inverter works perfect on our pitching machines. Having the ability to use the pitching machines anywhere we go has been a real game changer. Add in the fact that this unit is extremely quiet for a generator and it is the perfect storm of goodness. Westinghouse hit it out of the park with the iGen 2299

I have been searching for a quality inverter generator that could get the job done and meet my criteria. It had to be efficient, low noise, light weight, dependable, reasonable value and look great. I am very proud and confident the IGen2200 is the perfect generator. I compared other manufacturers and reviewed multiple sites and reviews. I knew of Westinghouse and immediately became a fan based on what others were saying about their generators. Once I received my IGen2200, I was extremely excited. I followed the set up procedures and it started immediately with ease. I can't wait to hit the road and use it at tailgates or camping and know that I have a great unit for back up power at home when needed. Thanks Westinghouse. I am a big fan!

Very lightweight, runs my application of wattage over 13 hours on the 1.3 gallon tank. Another similar Westinghouse model has a fuel gauge, but this one is a little lighter, with a little larger gas tank. Started on the 2nd pull out of the box (after adding oil and gas, of course).

I got this generator because I live in an area where the power gets turned off when there are wildfires, there are occasional brown outs, and you never know when a big earthquake is going to hit. The iGen2200 is simple to operate, maintain, transport, and store. It can be carried like a suitcase, since it has a handle on top. This unit is quiet and runs great. My kid started it on the first pull.

I bought this inverter generator for a backup to run refrigerator, laptop and few lightbulbs if blackout happens. After I opened a package, I was pleasantly surprised how light it is. I like the fact that it can be run in parallel if there is a need for more power. I did not rated a 5 star, only because it does not have the fuel gauge, although if I was willing to spend a little bit more for IGen2500, I would have this feature. Overall, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Easy start with one pull! Checked voltage and frequency output with and without load using Fluke 117 True RMS Multimeter. Voltage and frequency as published. Tested output with a 250 Watt resistive load. Monitored output load, voltage and frequency with Kill A Watt P3. Voltage, current and wattage were stable.

To be fair, I have only had this for a couple of weeks so I can not give an in-depth review. However, this inverter generator was easy to set up out of the box and start-up oil was provided. It has been used a couple of times, with varying loads. So far so good. The best part was the price, which was significantly lower than competing models. It's very possible that I will change this to 5 stars after more frequent and longer use.

Like some of the other reviews, my brand new Igen 2200 will not start. I brought it to a Westinghouse service center and they couldn't fix it. The unit was sent back to Westinghouse for replacement. I received an Open Box Item which was clearly used and returned. However, I kept it because the unit works. It took several months to have the unit serviced, returned and replaced. Overall, it's not a pleasant experience.
