Bought this to run my pellet stove in the winter in case the power goes out.. will still have capacity to run refrigerator and charge phones. I have not ran it yet, but looks to be well built and most of the reviews I had read in researching this specific model were all good to excellent. Another reason for purchasing was due to the integrated USB slots as well as the ability to parallel another unit (the parallel cord is sold separately). Would be a good addition though...

This came in handy when we lost electricity in a winter storm. I have a CPAP and it is hard to sleep with out it. This was good for powering one room for a CPAP, TV, Internet, Space Heater, Lamp and back-up battery to run on. Only slight down side was I had to re-fill it up with gas in less than 6 hours, which I wish lasted longer. to get straight sleep. I was still so happy verses sitting in a cold house in the dark without TV. This went on for 3 days. I was so glad I got this.

I have an interest in amateur HAM radio and needed to charge radios and batteries when my solar panels are sleeping! Ive used generators for years in many different applications from outdoor functions to weekend festivals. I can honestly say I was pleasently suprised how effective this generator inverter actually is. Great for dry camping, or glamping this powerhouse will keep all of your devices fully charged all weekend for less then a few gallons off gasoline. Knowing these units can be run in parallel also has me thinking about a second one, eventhough I've only had it for less then a week! I dont need another one asap, but that is a keen feature. Bought this a couple months ago, just took it out of the box today. Westinghouse supplies the correct amount of oil for filling and a wonderful funnel that screws into the oil fill hole to keep from spilling oil. Put gas in it, turned to choke, pulled the cord twice and it started. Excellent. The unit is heavier that I expected, but not too bad! Hooked up an electrical drill to unit. worked perfectly! Happy with the generator!

Great value for the money, compact and light weight. After reviewing the manual and required maintenance I noticed there was no mention of the the small in-line fuel filter and any requirement for replacement. The fuel filter is a common small engine in-line filter that do require replacement over time. The placement of the fuel filter could also be in a better location for ease of maintenance since you will need to remove the air filter intake hose/feed in order to gain access to the fuel filter

After setting up I ran it with no load for 20 minutes. Seemed ok. The next day I ran it with a lite constant load, engine would constantly rev up and down. After 2 hours I shut it off. The next day started it up and within seconds (with no power plugged into it) it overloaded and shut down. Awaiting reply from customer service.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago in expectance of potential winter storms. I researched a lot of options and this Westinghouse unit seemed to be the best value by far. When new it started in 3-4 pulls the first try, now after a few hours testing it starts on the 2nd pull every time. It's quite, runs smoothly, and burns very little fuel. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

We have our share of power outages. We needed a generator that produced clean electricity (inverter generator) and would run quietly for long periods of time without refueling. This generator is perfect for our use. We can run our refrigerators and freezers, and the TV. When the appliances are not running, it goes into ECO Mode and throttles down. It also starts very easily. This is the perfect fit for our needs.

Great little portable generator The 2200 was simple to set up - access to the oil fill was quick. I added a splash of gas and was running in less than 10 minutes from un-boxing. I use this for general use during camping with the travel trailer and for miscellaneous use when a little power is needed to run some lights, charge batteries, etc. I'll pair it with another 2200, or possibly the 2500, down the road. I'll need the parallelism to power the a/c unit in the camper. This unit is way better (quieter, lighter, solid) than my old yellow and black gunny, and it's just as good as the red ones. And, for some reason, the kids really get a kick out of charging their ipods with the 5V USB outlets.

I have been looking to buy one of these generators for a couple years now I am really impressed with the over all quality of this product I put the oil in and the gas and two pulls and it started right up and is really quiet . I would recommend this brand to anybody looking to buy a reasonable priced generator. And the oil funnel is awesome.
