I learned about sensitivities I didn't even connect with before. I wasn't surprised with my highest reactive food (cows milk) but there were some sneaky foods that I frequently enjoy that are likely causing me issues. Hoping the elimination of these will provide relief! Just knowing has already given me relief from my anxiety over food choice.

The kit was very well set up and very easy to use! But it took almost 3 weeks to get my results back. The results is what confused me. I have always been treated for a dairy sensitivity, but my results showed a low dairy sensitivity and a moderate sensitivity to a variety of food that has never bothered me before, to my knowledge. So I am curious as to if the results are accurate.

I suspected I had some sensitivities to a certain food (or foods) I ate on a regular basis that was contributing to swollen joints on my hands. After spending a month on an elimination diet for arthritis early this year, then gradually adding in the eliminated foods, only to discover nothing "jumped out at me" as being the culprit, I was very happy to find this EverlyWell test of 90+ different food, drink, and spice items for which I could be tested simply by providing several drops of blood I could collect at home. No doctor visit, no lab visit, no inconvenience required. Easy to follow directions and I received my results by email within five days of mailing my packet. The one food that showed "high" reactivity was one I hadn't even suspected (almonds). Now, at least I know where to start on eliminating that food, plus some of the "moderately reactive" foods. My sister and I did this test at the same time, and we had to poke each other's fingers with the needle thing because we were too nervous to do our own. Maybe because we were nervous about it, the test took longer than expected. We could barely fill three of the circles with blood drops before the blood stopped flowing from our fingers, and we would not have poked our fingers again had we needed to. Once mailed, the lab received mine and my sister's samples several days later and we were notified on the same day that the lab would begin processing the information. My sister's results came two days before mine, but both were received pretty quickly. Aside from the blood draw from our fingers, the test was relatively easy.

I gave ordered a few tests from this company and I've been pretty satisfied! They are pretty quick and I believe accurate. One of my tests didn't work out because of something on their end and they refunded me AND gave me a code for a free test. That is awesome customer service. If you're looking for answers to your health this is a good place to be!

The test was simple and easy to use. I liked being able to do this in the comfort of my own home. It did however, take quite some time to get my results back. I was eager to get some answers regarding food sensitivity and it took almost two weeks to be notified, so please keep that in mind.

This gave me the help that I needed to know what I could and couldn't eat without doing a total elimination and starting from scratch. I just have eliminated those foods and now can test to see if they actually affect how I feel. This gave me a starting point!
