So fast & easy!

I've often wondered which foods were not working well with my body, and recently took a test to see if I could learn more. I'm super impressed with the one I took. It's called the EverlyWell Food Sensitivity test, and I got my results really fast, and they were easy to understand. I'm going to make some changes to my diet to see if I notice a difference.

It was surprising

I knew that milk caused me problems but I was really surprised to see some of the other things that came up I'll have to start eliminating them from my diet to see if I start feeling better. Overall I'm pretty happy I was able to get this testing done. I had to prick two different fingers because I wasn't able to get enough blood from the 1st one. This test needs a lot of blood to cover those bubbles on the test paper. So overall it was fine but I can't imagine getting the larger test just because the amount of blood they need is a lot.

I keep buying these tests for family members!

I was in complete shock when I received my results. I feel so much better since I have eliminated the foods that I am most sensitive to. My stomach doesn't ache anymore and I have a lot more energy. Because I feel so much better, I have since purchased additional tests for my children as well as recommended this test to others.

Skeptical but Excited

Would love to see more of the science on the website. I want to believe that these are real results but too many medical and functional medicine doctors dispute efficacy of results and approach, so would be good if science behind it addresses counterpoint to these claims.

Fantastic product and experience

I have struggled with food sensitivities for many years. This test armed with information about what specific foods to avoid. I have had issues with eggs for years and now I know that I need to completely avoid eggs. The user experience was also so easy. I highly recommend this product!

Great, easy way to start figuring out food triggers

Was suffering from some hive like spots and itching over the past couple of months. Figured it MIGHT be too much dairy, non-organic dairy in major coffee chain coffee that I'd started drinking plus cheese for lunch, etc. Super easy ordering and testing process (finger pricking for blood sample). Quick turnaround (about 5 days from shipping sample) for results. I do think the explanation pages on the website could use improvement. Lots of questions on the Facebook community page from folks who don't quite understand the antibody/food sensitivity test results. Overall though, the results did confirm what I'd thought, plus a bit more. Great way to kick of figuring out triggers and food sensitivities from the comfort of your home!

Super Easy and informative

Very easy to do at home and mail off, and results were very quick! The results were detailed and made sense to how I eat and also, because I'm vegan, I knew some of the results were not simply because I eat them regularly or don't eat them at all. The results lined up with food items I've wondered if they bothered me - some I'm not yet willing to give up but others I can definitely try eliminating and seeing if that helps!

I like this product and have recommended it to family.

I'm wasn't sure just how accurate this would be, but with what I've learned so far I'm going to start making some changes. My hope is that I'll see a difference in my health. I appreciate how everything is organized so well for you to do it all yourself, and they truly made it very simple.

Very Easy to Use

This was a lot more convenient than driving into the city to see my doctor and try to convince them to run a food allergy panel. I've read mixed info regarding IgG tests for this purpose but here are my thoughts. The criticism I see is that your body sees all foods as intruders and creates IgG antibodies for all of them. According to that theory, foods you eat the most would show the highest reactivity. However, my top hit was mustard which I hate though I do have a spice grinder with mustard seed as an ingredient so I have a tiny bit of exposure. Another high hit was almond, which I knew I couldn't tolerate raw but I have roasted sometimes with less reaction. Egg white was one I suspected and hoped wouldn't show up but it did. So in my case, my highest reactive foods were not foods I eat the most often but rather foods I already mostly avoided. In my opinion it's not something to take as gospel, but it's a great starting point if you suspect you may have delayed reactions to foods that make it hard to pinpoint the culprit. You'll still need to do an elimination test of that food to confirm but it gives you a starting point.

Better for those who haven't done the elimination diet

I had spent two months testing foods during an elimination diet. I wanted to do the food sensitivity test, to see how it aligned with what I learned and maybe introduce me to some foods I hadn't eliminated that I was sensitive to. It's interesting. But pricey for something that isn't quite as thorough as the diet. But not pricey for a test that's usually way more expensive through conventional means. Nightshades caused major reactions during the diet that didn't show up on this test. But they did show up on an ALLERGY test years ago. Dairy was pinging everywhere, which I also confirmed on my diet. Eggs, green beans, and mushrooms tested positively for me. Which is weird because I didn't really react much to eggs on the diet. And I had been eating green beans frequently for months. So, I haven't had many symptoms since the ED after removing nightshades and dairy. I guess my point is, once you've done the elimination diet, and your feel FANTASTIC... you'd really be spending to satisfy further curiousity. But if you've done the diet, and still don't feel great, this is worth exploring to test those categories that the ED doesn't.
