[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I've been trying certain elimination diets to help with some chronic issues, and basically have been firing without a target; This test is very helpful in determining where my focus should be. Some of the results were genuinely surprising. Cons: Would like a little more in-depth analysis on how I should structure my elimination diet. How many days off, ect. Also if it's possible to link the symptom & food that would be cool (i.e. response to coffee usually comes in the form of a headache, vs. bloating for milk, ect.). Blood sample method not easy. #sweepstakes

I question some of the results since I know some of these things bother me. Now I question whether it is objective or subjective on my end. I was 100% sure dairy and soy bother me, but now it is saying eggs are my nemesis. I will use this as a data point to learn what works the best for me.

The test instructions were easy to follow, especially after watching the video on how to do it. Also, got the test quickly, and the results back quickly. When I received my results, I was surprised that the 3 foods I tested high and moderate on were foods I ate almost every day. I am starting an elimination diet, including all high, moderate, and mild reactions, and will see how it goes. I have gastrointestinal issues and am hoping for some relief.

Shipping: The kit took 10 days to get to me, and 5 days to get back to the lab so that was hard to wait for! I would think that for the price of this test that they could use a faster delivery service. Testing: I had never used a lancet so I was a little nervous, but I followed step by step and the directions were pretty easy to follow. Results: These were ready within 2 days of the test arriving at the lab. I have one High reactivity food, and 7 moderate reactivity foods. Some of them I suspected, some I did not! The suggestions on the website for elimination diets provided me with a good idea of how to start testing my sensitivities. The hard part now will be sticking to that! The one suggestion I have would be to put more links to articles on each food that suggest how to cope with a food sensitivities, as opposed to telling me why Gluten is healthy... Overall, I really enjoyed receiving these results and I've already told a lot of people about it since everyone seems to have issues with digestion, etc.

I received the kit a few days after ordering it and the directions were easy to follow. I then sent it back and received my results a few days later. I really like the text and email updates that notified me when my kit was received and when my test results are ready. The report was easy to digest and I like the feature to download the report for your doctor as well. I've already started recommending it to family and friends.

I was diagnosed with IBS 6 years ago and have struggled on and off with random flare ups (horrible bloating, pain, cramps, gas). Truthfully, doctors have been of no help and provided no clear direction or feedback. I identified certain foods during this time frame that were clear issues, but really wanted a better medical report of what could be triggers. Taking the food sensitivity gave me a full understanding of the foods that can cause issues and the severity. It REALLY helped me dial in on identifying things to avoid. I have been avoiding my high sensitivity triggers and have ZERO issues since then. This is SUCH a value for the small price and the knowledge it gives you!

While experiencing unexplained abdominal discomfort that would come and go I also suspected a connection with food sensivities. Not sure of my offending triggers with previous trial food elimination challenges I made the decision to order the home test . I wanted to see if the listed comparisons agreed with my comparisons. I had a better overall picture to share with my physician and was suprised to see egg whites being my highest reactions. This gives me the ability to tighten my diet, omit the offending foods and reintroduce them observing reactions results to share with my physician.

Definitely learned more than if I hadn't done the test, but a more comprehensive list of foods tested would make the results more useful and more details about the food and how each food generally ranks for most people would be neat too. A more robust dashboard to more easily visualize the results would be useful.

I had spent two months testing foods during an elimination diet. I wanted to do the food sensitivity test, to see how it aligned with what I learned and maybe introduce me to some foods I hadn't eliminated that I was sensitive to. It's interesting. But pricey for something that isn't quite as thorough as the diet. But not pricey for a test that's usually way more expensive through conventional means. Nightshades caused major reactions during the diet that didn't show up on this test. But they did show up on an ALLERGY test years ago. Dairy was pinging everywhere, which I also confirmed on my diet. Eggs, green beans, and mushrooms tested positively for me. Which is weird because I didn't really react much to eggs on the diet. And I had been eating green beans frequently for months. So, I haven't had many symptoms since the ED after removing nightshades and dairy. I guess my point is, once you've done the elimination diet, and your feel FANTASTIC... you'd really be spending to satisfy further curiousity. But if you've done the diet, and still don't feel great, this is worth exploring to test those categories that the ED doesn't.

I purchased the food sensitivity test, but it requires a lot of blood. The first time I didn't give enough blood but they did send another kit for free so I could try again. They also provided a lot of tips so I could produce enough blood from finger pricks. It was still a challenge and two needles wasn't enough - had to use my own device to get enough blood. Second time worked and got my results quickly.
