I am a physician and I've always been intrested in health and nutrition; but with so many different diet's and philosophies, that have been popularized over the last 40 years, it can be very confusing. Sometimes I simply don't know what I'm supposed to eat. Today I feel so much better knowing the specific foods that do not make my body happy. What I found was that a paleo diet was most likely the best diet for me. I'm very grateful to have the ability to see these specifics of my food allergies. I would recommend this test to anyone.

My results took more than double the 5 work days they suggested when I bought the test. That in itself isn't bad, but it's the failed expectations that are. The results were clear and easy to use, but there is a limitation to their offering that keeps it from being of maximal utility. If you're already avoiding a food, you may get a finding of minimal reaction to that food. That doesn't mean you don't have a problem with it. The only way you'll know is to starting eating it and retest. The problem is that you have to get the whole test. It would be most helpful if they offered people the ability to customize retests so as not to waste money as they hone in on the answers.

Recently, my stomach's been acting up, making it hard to keep food down. So with nothing else to lose I figured I try this out. While I was hoping to have a couple foods that I was moderately or highly sensitive to, I had a long list of mild sensitivities. It's not the test's fault, but I have a very long list of foods to cut out one by one to see if my symptoms improve. Overall, I think this test is useful to print out and bring with you when you're seeing a doctor, as maybe it'll help them pinpoint the problem.

I had been thru an elimination diet and this test confirmed my findings as well as finding a few more hidden allergies I didn't know I had. This will help me avoid the foods that don't sit well with my body. I was sorry garlic was one, as I love things flavored with fresh garlin.

I was impressed by the test kit directions and style as well as how quickly my results came back! My only comment would be to send 2 sample collection cards in the kits originally as I struggled quite a bit the first time trying to collect enough or correctly land drops on my sheet. I also used my pointer finger the second time around instead of the ring or pinky finger, which made it much easier to keep stable and collect enough for the sample requirements. Results were also clear and nicely laid out. I'm looking forward to hearing how my results pair with my Helix testing!

I had to have someone else poke my finger for this but I'm so glad I did! I had a feeling a couple things would come back with reactivity and I was right. And then there were some that I had no idea about! (Looking at you, almonds!) This was so helpful and I'm very everlywell-minded to get the expanded test as well. Great product. Just a heads up, it doesn't give precise reactivity to the foods tested but general reactivity if any so if you're looking for something very broken down you may want to buy the one with Helix. Great product!

I love that this test was easy. Great directions. Everything you need. AND I did not have to take time off of work for doctor appointments. To me, the cost was probably cheaper than a doctor appointment that would have also have added lab expenses. I also love that I can look up my ratings whenever and where ever I want until I have it memorized.

The test was easy and informative. The only reason I gave it a 3 instead of a five has to do with one reason... I would be better if you rated the sensitivity more precise. Like on a scale of one to ten so a person has a better understanding on what to expect from certain foods. Or maybe avoid. Say...1-4 little or insignificant reaction. 5-7 possible rash/redness/itching/etc. 8-10 avoid completely. Then it gives a person a better perspective and game plan.

The instructions were streamlined meaning they were all found in one place rather than linked to different sites. At the moment I would not recommend this product a friend unless they have the time and energy needed to properly go through all the instructions. Then again, the cost was reasonable compared to other tests out on the market.

I received good information on my food sensitivities. Things that I never would have guessed. My downfall with this test is it is a blood test. The test kit comes with two very small finger prick tools that only shoot once. I could not get enough blood required with those tools. I had to find a needle around my house and open the finger prick on my finger to an actual wound to get enough blood out.
