I have been using this wash machine for several months now and I have to say it's a huge upgrade from my previous machine of 20 yrs, things have certainly changed. First of all, it's beautiful and has a huge capacity so you can wash blankets and bedspreads. It is very simple and straightforward to use and has several cycles and water temperatures to pick from. The washer runs very quiet and cleans very well, it even has a cute little jingle at the end when its finished. Would highly recommend this wash machine and would love to buy a Samsung dryer to go with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a 25 year old GE washer. The only feature we don't like is the locking lid. We understand its a safety feature so its just annoying when you dropped a sock or need to add the forgot pair of pants. Yeah you can pause it and it will unlock but it's just an extra step. Other than that, it cleans well!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had a front load washer and hated it. This top load washer is amazing and my laundry has never been cleaner. Only downfall would be if you were short as the drum is so deep you might have a hard time reaching to the bottom

I bought this less than 4 years ago, and it has started making an awful grinding noise whenever the drum spins. Sounds like there is failing bearing. It is so loud, that even with it behind a door, and on the other side of the house, it is deafening. Samsungs official support pages all assume any unpleasant sounds are because you installed it wrong, and as such there is no guidance on how to figure out which bearing is bad or how to replace it. Washer worked fine until recently, but this is less than a year after the 3 year extended service contract expired. Talk about planned obsolescence.

Iv always had terrible luck with filling the load up with too much and not washing all the items. This machine works great that we got the dryer recently to match!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the washer almost a year, and with the exception of a hot water valve going bad, replaced under warranty, it's been great. I will admit I'm still getting use to it being HE and not getting the old school hot water cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top load Samsung washer is a super powerful machine with options such as normal, heavy duty, bedding, deep wash, quick wash and self wash. It is deep enough and has a great capacity reducing the number of cycles each week. For a family of four, I used to run four cycles each week and with Samsung I am done in two cycles. I also love water options of high, medium and low if you are trying to conserve resources. The temperature options are great too, I love the eco option for gentle temperature. The machine is great for delicates too with shorter cycle time. I love quick wash option too for smaller loads. The interface is super intuitive as I didn’t have to read the manual and figure it out. The self clean feature is great. I recommend using this option at least once a month.

the washer does a good job however it tends to take a long time in cycles at times. also, the bearings went out after 5 months and had to have it replaced. it became very loud during spins cycles. there also needs to be a stting to allow you to turn off the annoying music it plays at the end of the cycle. this model doesnt seem to have an off switch.
