very disappointed. bought on friday 1/30/26. usually am good at checking the use by date, but this time i guess i didnt. i went to cook it tonight, which is tuesday 2/3/26, and that's when i saw the use by date to be 1/31/26. it was not discounted at all, so i never suspected it would have a use by date of one day after i bought it. couldnt take the chance and had to throw it away. disapointed with Sam's about this, even though it is ultimately my fault.

This big filet always gives me many meals. I cut into servings, seal in freezer bags & freeze. It’s always fresh & hardly any bones. I recommend it.
