Best Automatic Trash Can

This trash can is huge and I love it. I had to buy 30 gal trash bags though but at least I’m not dumping trash every couple days now. Automatic works great. I’ve had an automatic trash can for years and it just wouldn’t shut anymore, even with new batteries. Once you have an automatic you can’t go back to a normal trash can.

Bigger Than the CostCo Trash Can

I bought this sensor-activated trash can because it was bigger than the average competitors. I loved the last 55L one I bought at CostCo, but the lid joint broke after years of use, and it would just flop. So, this Walmart one is bigger and I don't have to change the trash bags as often.

I love everything about this trash can! Love the size and the sensors are dead on. If you need to take longer than the average time (to scrape something in or whatever) as long as you are right above the sensor it stays open until you move. It also has a button you can hit to make it stay open longer. Operates on D batteries which has been lasting quite awhile now. Would highly recommend!

This trash can is decent. This is my third automatic trash can. This particular one is slow at opening and does not have a bin inside for the trash bag. It has this flimsy plastic you wrap the bag around which I don’t see it lasting long. I will mostly like be returning this item.

I bought this trash can about a week ago. Just wave your hand it opens and seconds later it closes. The only drawback is I have to buy larger trash bags 13 gal bags are way too small, but by the time it's full it's time to empty the other smaller trash cans in the house so the larger bag is perfect.

Holds a lot of trash, Easy to use, does require a larger than normal bag, so if you are looking for one that uses 13 gallon kitchen bags, this is not the one. I found 30 gallon bags work perfectly. Nice addition to the kitchen with it's lovely stainless steel look.
