This came to the house a few weeks ago. I put the batteries in and it works like a charm. I have four dogs, and they can't knock this one over like my last kitchen can. This is worth the money! But make sure you have D batteries - they don't come with the unit. And always have a spare set on hand for when they wear down.

This is our 2nd trash can (same model), we have a family of 5, so it gets a lot of use! The first one we bought about 6 years ago, so it was time for a new one! I love that it’s a 21 gallon capacity, your not constantly taking the trash out! And when your hands are full, the senser automatically opens the can for you! Great product! With great features!

We've been using it for a couple of weeks. It is a larger can but the 30 gal bags work great. My sister saw the touchfree trashcan at a friends house a few years ago so I was excited to get this for her. I have had to turn it backward towards the wall so that it does not open everytime we walk past it.

I purchased this trash can nearly a month ago and I am so happy I did. I don’t have to touch anything to put trash in it It is very stylish. My only trouble is changing the bag. There is a small ring the bag goes. A standard 13 gallon bag is difficult to use.

So happy to have another automatic open can. The last one was nice, but when it stopped working after 4 years I got the one with the foot pedal. Really missed the auto open feature and decided to try this one, Love the ease of operation and the larger capacity. 21 gallon vs 13. Makes so much difference.

My favorite thing bout this can is that it is soooo large. The oval shape makes the bag really easy to get out, no more fighting and tearing bags. Only had it about 2 weeks and the old already seems like it wants to stop working, which sycks but the large size makes up for it.

This trash can is huge and I love it. I had to buy 30 gal trash bags though but at least I’m not dumping trash every couple days now. Automatic works great. I’ve had an automatic trash can for years and it just wouldn’t shut anymore, even with new batteries. Once you have an automatic you can’t go back to a normal trash can.

The mechanism is working as advertised. It's a boon to be able to dispose off trash without needing to hold the bin open with either the hand out foot. However the cell house is sensitive to touching the inside of the bin and disconnecting the circuit. It took me half an hour to fix that issue.

I like the size of the trash can. However, I can not get the sensor to work. It doesn't tell you which way the batteries should go and the battery door does not stay closed and the batteries fall out. When I open the top it stays open until I manually close it.

We received our trash can with tape over top of box that had been retapped. That should had been the first red flag, but then opened box and the wrap was off the can. But, I went ahead and tried to use and guess what….didn’t work. Next time, if a customs returns an item that doesn’t work, maybe it don’t work!!!
