Best Automatic Trash Can

This trash can is huge and I love it. I had to buy 30 gal trash bags though but at least I’m not dumping trash every couple days now. Automatic works great. I’ve had an automatic trash can for years and it just wouldn’t shut anymore, even with new batteries. Once you have an automatic you can’t go back to a normal trash can.

My wife is very happy with Nine Stars, she likes the easy to clean stainless steel trash can, the extra capacity it holds and of course the automatic opening lid the price is very good for this size can. The price we paid for this can was the same price for a much smaller can the same make being sold by other competitors.

Bigger Than the CostCo Trash Can

I bought this sensor-activated trash can because it was bigger than the average competitors. I loved the last 55L one I bought at CostCo, but the lid joint broke after years of use, and it would just flop. So, this Walmart one is bigger and I don't have to change the trash bags as often.

I'm excited to be able to waive my hand and the lid open but this can it a lot bigger than I was expecting. It's just over 20 gallons which is larger than the average 13 so I had to buy new bags. The 20 gal. ones are still too small bit I have to finagle them to fit.

Great can, BUT!!!

This is a great trash can, we love the no touch aspect, and it looks great... BUT, what they fail to tell you is that it is near impossible to find bags that fit!!! We found them online for rediculous amounts of money ($80 for 50 bags?!?!). If you don’t mind using 30 gallon “yard” bags like we did, then it’s a great item, otherwise, look elsewhere.

Awesome trashcan holds so much more kitchen trash with fewer changes than the 13 gallon. You never have to touch the can only when changing the trash bags. Also the trash bags are located with the trash cans in Walmart not with regular trash bag section.

I bought this to replace, what I thought, was the automatic sensor can that I had. I love how much it holds, even though it takes up no more space than my old 13 gallon can. It opens and closes quickly and easily. I wish someone made 22 gallon bags, but the 30 gallon work just fine. It is a great buy for the money.

Holds a lot of trash, Easy to use, does require a larger than normal bag, so if you are looking for one that uses 13 gallon kitchen bags, this is not the one. I found 30 gallon bags work perfectly. Nice addition to the kitchen with it's lovely stainless steel look.

I like the size of the trash can. However, I can not get the sensor to work. It doesn't tell you which way the batteries should go and the battery door does not stay closed and the batteries fall out. When I open the top it stays open until I manually close it.
