I have purchased two smaller ones from the same company, which I wasn’t happy with. This garbage can is totally redesigned compared to the older versions. It is absolutely better than the older ones and holds a lot more. It holds a whole week’s of garbage. I highly recommend this one, it’s fantastic. ❤️🙏🙏🙏

Battery operated, large opening, beautiful brushed stainless steel exterior, and works as described. I replaced my 13gal plastic, manually operated flippy -lid trashcan for this winner. The capacity is 26 gallons. I read a few reviews that indicated the cost for 26gal trashbags were costly & hard to find. Recommended 30gal instead...I took their advice and very happy that I did. Once the filled bag is removed I add trash from smaller bins around the house and make one trip to the container outside! Double capacity, quiet automated functions, conceals odors when lid is closed, looks fantastic w/other stainless steel appliances and a terrific value (and warranty!). Get one already!

I am unsure why someone designing a trash can would create an inner lip for the bag to catch as you are trying your lift it out… I thought we would get away from that either way this purchase but I am sadly mistaken. I have been fighting with a similar trash can for 2 years and am no longer willing to struggle for no reason.

I was worried about how responsive this would be, but the lid opens quickly once you trigger the sensor. Be aware that this item won't work well in tight spaces where walking too close to it will accidentally trigger the sensor. The sensor area is small and above the can, but if you walk too close to the front of it then your arm might trigger the sensor.

I purchased a trash can from the Samsclub website in November 2018. The automatic lid never worked. Ninestars ask that you don’t return items directly to store and you work thru them. I’ve sent 3 emails and a message via their contact us section on their website. I have not heard from the company or a representative. I read the reviews regarding this company on google and the poor customer service is consistent. I am returning the defective trash can today and will not purchase anymore Ninestars items. Lesson learned!

I love the garbage can I bought four of them now? Never have to touch a garbage can just wave your hand above it. It opens up and automatically shut just watch. If you have a smart dog he wants to run his nose across it so he can open the lid never garbage can only. This one

Absolutely love this trash can. I will never buy a regular trash can for my kitchen ever again. This is priceless and definitely worth all the $$$. It is much more durable for my family. The size is a tremendous plus and does not take up any extra space but to top it off it Looks Great!

It works. It's bigger that I expected, which isn't always a bad thing, but something to keep in mind. The electronics portion feels a bit cheap to me, and the sensor is not top quality (it works most of the time, but you have to be slow and close), so I deducted one star.

This is a great trash can, we love the no touch aspect, and it looks great... BUT, what they fail to tell you is that it is near impossible to find bags that fit!!! We found them online for rediculous amounts of money ($80 for 50 bags?!?!). If you don’t mind using 30 gallon “yard” bags like we did, then it’s a great item, otherwise, look elsewhere.

Love how the lid blocks out orders, and is easy to push the open button when I am skinning potatoes and close when done. The automatic function is great and works well for a fast dump. This is the biggest I could find at 22 gallons. I wish it were a little bigger for my big family, but it has worked great!
