You have to send a photo of your receipt to activate your warranty and complete a paper warranty form. I don't have a receipt because I bought online. All this should be accomplished online. The product quality is ok. The garbage can is lite which I prefer. I hope it's high strength.

With all the sensor trash can opener I’ve bought, this one is the only one working for about 8 years and is still working. I’ve bought my mom a different kind and it lasted 1 year. I wish I bought her this too. I recommend this one the best trash can sensor and big enough too. I buy the 33gallon for this sensor trash can

Was excited to receive it, but I've changed the batteries twice to see if that was the issue, but it still doesn't work. I'm not getting any light to flash to say it's working and tried to do a reset for the sensor. Is it C batteries or D batteries? Some say in reviews it takes 4 C batteries, but the instructions say 3 D batteries. I guess I'll try 4 C batteries to see if that works.

I got tired of pulling my large trash liner out of my kitchen-sized trash can and then keeping it out for days to finish filling it up. This trash can, although it doesn't look much larger, holds a TON more trash before it gets filled up and needs to come out. Read one review where they said to not let it get too full or it's too heavy (or hard?) to get out. I haven't found that to be the case at all. LOVE IT!!! Wish I'd found it years ago!

I purchased this about 2 months ago. It worked about 1 week and stopped. I did everything it suggested to try and fix it nothing worked. Have to manually open and close it. It certainly is not worth the price. I have to leave open alot and you can smell the trash inside. Do not recommend at all. My son has one that is awesome and that's why I purchased this one, but his us a different brand. His uses 2 AA where this one uses 3DD.

The only complaint I have is that the battery compartment door is cheaply made. We managed to snap the clips off on day one & have had to duct tape the battery door shut because the battery falls out very easily. Be very careful when clicking that door off!

I had high hopes for this trash can, considering all the positive reviews. What a disappointment. This trash can is literally that, trash. Mainly because of the way the bag fits (or doesn’t) in the van itself. There’s a ring that the bag goes around; a thin, flimsy plastic ring. The ring does not fit the bag. Issue number one. Issue number two: the ring is held in place by the lid. In the event you remove the lid, the trash bag AND whimsical plastic ring fall into the can. The ring has since broken. It’s been two weeks. Sure, the lid works and the can is stainless, but what does that matter if it isn’t functional? I would’ve been less upset had we just thrown away $60 than buying this garbage. Save your money, or spend a bit more for something that isn’t trash.

This motion sensor trash can is great! It looks very nice in our kitchen and has a large capacity. We like having the ring to hold the trash bag firmly inside. It doesn?t open when we just walk by but once in a while it will open if a hand accidentally brushes against it. Overall, we are very pleased with it!

I have a small bathroom size one of these and it has been flawless in operation. I decided to go for the big 21 gallon kitchen one. Same outcome. These are well made and last. I like the option of going manual mode. Push button to open. It stays open until you push the close button. The automatic mode is good too. Ours is close to the stove so it often is triggered to open when we didn't mean to. No big deal. The batteries last a long time.I cannot fault this device except it does not have a hard plastic insert can and the bag tries to catch on the metal rim as you remove the bag. Some tape on the lip may fix it.

We have had this for a week and love it! As a family of four, we were emptying our 10.6 gallon trash can several times a week, it seemed. I use a 30-gallon trash bag in this can and it took the entire week to fill with no noticeable smell (even had a tray from chicken in it that long!) I was also concerned it would overwhelm the space I had the previous can in since it is twice as big, but it does not take up much more space. Like the Tardis, it?s bigger on the inside!
