I got tired of pulling my large trash liner out of my kitchen-sized trash can and then keeping it out for days to finish filling it up. This trash can, although it doesn't look much larger, holds a TON more trash before it gets filled up and needs to come out. Read one review where they said to not let it get too full or it's too heavy (or hard?) to get out. I haven't found that to be the case at all. LOVE IT!!! Wish I'd found it years ago!

Exceeded my expectations!
Arrived to my home much sooner than expected and in pristine condition. I loaded it with the required batteries and placed it in its new home. I'm thrilled with it, so much so that I'm going to order another one. I was concerned about what size bag it was going to take. To my surprise....it uses heavy duty outdoor trash bags!! Wonderful Wonderful.

Love it! Not for everyone tho :)
Of course I love it.... it takes some getting used to when you have never had one before and every time you walk by it opens... definitely made for a big family tho because if you don’t take the trash out often and you throw something smelly out well then I think you can imagine the rest. Also it’s hard to find bags wide enough to go around the top. But to me that’s a small downside. Everyone is different tho. ;)

Best Can Everrrr...so Luxe
I have zero issues with mine. I don't even think I change the batteries once a year, because I can't recall it's been so long. I do use the members mark 33 gal trash bags or I get the Hefty on sale. The trash can is amazing and we fill up ours about once a day or every second day. I will use a disinfectant wipe in my kitchen and then end by using it on the interior trash can lid area before I discard it. Easy peasy. I know I've had my trash can for years and I buy them for my grown children.

great product!
With all the sensor trash can opener I’ve bought, this one is the only one working for about 8 years and is still working. I’ve bought my mom a different kind and it lasted 1 year. I wish I bought her this too. I recommend this one the best trash can sensor and big enough too. I buy the 33gallon for this sensor trash can

Nice can :)
Wish I would have purchased this when it first came out. Very convenient - keeps us from having to empty the garbage every other day. I use the 30 gallon bags and believe me, it saves a lot of money since we now empty this garbage can every 4 to 5 days. The top keeps the smell inside the can and the bags pull out with ease.

Great choice
I bought it about 3 years ago. It still works great and I haven’t had any issues with it. The batteries last around 12 months. I use 30 gallon bags in it. This allows room to add trash from small containers the bathrooms and office, after it has been removed from the can. I would definitely buy it again and have recommended it to family and friends.

Awesome Nine Star 21.1 gallon trash can
I purchased this automatic Nine Star 21.1 gallon trash can over 2 years ago. And I still love it. Had ran on the same D size batteries all this time. And believe me, my family uses this trash can a lot. What a fantastic product that still looks and performs great. I am so happy to have gotten this trash can I am ordering one for my Son's place.

Poor quality
It’s cheap, but we have gone through two of these within just a few years. Both had the same issue—eventually the mechanism that lifts the lid fails. Our first one would open, but immediately fall back down/would not stay open, our second one would only partially open, meaning I would have to use my hand to push it open. Both times my mechanically inclined husband took the mechanism apart to try to fix it, but the problem eventually came back. I’m springing for a simple human sensor can. Better quality and long warranty is worth the extra cost!!

Overall, very pleased with it!
This motion sensor trash can is great! It looks very nice in our kitchen and has a large capacity. We like having the ring to hold the trash bag firmly inside. It doesn?t open when we just walk by but once in a while it will open if a hand accidentally brushes against it. Overall, we are very pleased with it!
