Careful

I really liked this can with the automatic lid. However, the lid quit working within a year. They sent us a new lid but it quit working after 6 months! I sent the company an email and called them twice with no response yet.

Wish it would have lasted longer!

The batteries fell out if the compartment into the garbage so I no longer had the top to the compartment. Then the lid broke a few months later. LOL go figure

Lid stays clean

Best investment I’ve made in a while. Lid opens on its own so people don’t spill food, etc on the lid. There is a ring on the lid that holds the bag in place. Very nice for the cost.

Didn't last long

Bought this trash can a few months back and not very pleased with it. The batteries die very fast and now it isn't even really working. Didn't last very long for the price. I would not recommend this trash can.

Doesn't work

I purchased this to months ago really love it, however it stop working. Put new batteries in it, it want open, so we open it manually and just leave it open sucks save your money don't buy it

Sensor quit working...

Loved the trash can, but after two months of use the sensors quit working. There is supposed to be a year warranty, but there is no customer service number listed for this company. Any help would be appreciated it!

No trash bags available in 21 gallon

Why sell a trash can that is this cool (and advertise it) with no trash bags available for sale in a 21 gallon size? I just assumed that if a retailer would sell this that there would be trash bags for sale in this size. I bought the D batteries so that the trashcan could work then realized after searching online and going to commom stores to buy trashbags that they don't sell trash bags that are 21 gallon unless you buy them from specialty retailers which are fairly pricey and not ideal to rely on having to buy your trash bags online when you run out. Having to return this techy TC this week. (I figured Sams would at least have offered a 21 gal trash bag option online but nope)

Expensive? Frivolous? Necessary!

In our house, standard 13 gallon trashcan seems to fill up in sn instant. This can holds the load, and keeps the "take the trash out" chore, a lot less frequent. Yes the can is expensive, and some people would argue that the sensor opening and closing is frivolous. So far, the feature has been very useful. In the past 2 years , I have had to replace 2 cheaper cans that added up, cost more than this one, so by hopefully buying quality, we will get many years of service from this can.

wonderful can

I bought this can about three years ago maybe four . I got my moneys worth. It worked great all that time. I’ve bought another one but a little bigger that I love. Will keep buying as long as they last a few years. I hate to hear that some of you are having trouble with yours. I love mine.
