Hi Customer, unfortunately our units don&#39;t come with adjustment sensitivity. But we will definitely take feedback into consideration. If you are having issues with the lid and it seems to be opening more than usual. Hi there,<br />I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your unit. I would like to advise you that this unit works well with 22 or 23 gallon liners which can be purchased in the garden section of your local store. I have also attached a video link which demonstrates how to correctly use the liner ring as it should not take too much for the liner. <br />https://www.facebook.com/ninestarsusa/videos/1678197472447429/ <br />As for the smell and leaking, I do recommend using a gentle all-surface cleaner such as Mrs. Meyers, clean well and allow it to air dry.
