I brought this item a week before Thanksgiving and it stop working and I called customer service and they gave me poor excuse to take out the batteries and wait 24 hrs to reset it and it still will not work. I always do my research before I purchase any items.

I bought this two weeks ago. Took it out the box went and got batteries and it did not work. Call the support line and she told me to get some different batteries and wait 24 hours if the light did not come on call us back. I called them back now I have to email the company and they will send me a new one. Very disappointing. So I will email the company now.

I had purchased a self opening trash can at Sam's ten years ago which was still nice but the self opening function had ceased to work. I was pleased when I saw they were offering this one. Regrettably at 21 gallons it is difficult to find trash bags. A 13 gallon size would have been better.
