I have been buying hearing aid batteries from Sam's since 2017. I have never had problem. Now they change the packaging to what looks like other brands. But you will need heavy duty scissors and quite a bit of muscle to get to the batteries. Then once I cut the round plastic, I'm using a zip lock bag to keep them together. Doesn't seem very safe or like much of a value.

Batteries are fine but the packaging is TERRIBLE! Most of us using hearing aids are “older” and have arthritis in their hands. I have to use scissors to remove & place in something else so I can carry them in my purse.

These are next to impossible to get out of packaging! My scissors hardly cuts the plastic they are wrapped in and when you dou get through it the edges are so sharp you cut your fingers. Please put in easier to open packaging!

I bought these believing the package worked like other circular packages I've had with an opening to retrieve one battery at a time. Wrong! If anything it is even more difficult that the prior divisible Members Mark flat package with 60 batteries.

Hearing aid batteries they are very good once you get them open the new child proof packaging is horrendous to get open if you're older and not strong, it takes pliers to get them open

The packaging is terrible, having to cut open to get the batteries out is absurd. The plastic also needs to recyclable. Much prefer packaging that rotates to an open slot.

The new child resistant packaging is horrible and is impossible to open without tools. I can understand making it harder for kids to open but this is much too far.

Batteries are very difficult to remove from packaging. Removing batteries can cause serious hand injury from knives and scissors used to remove batteries. Fix the packaging problem and fire the person that thought the dangerous packaging was a good idea.

This packaging is too difficult to open. I know it's supposed to be a means of child proofing, but the majority of users (the elderly) are not children, but they experience similar challenges that children experience such as exerting the amount of strength needed to open this packaging as well as hand coordination. I watched my elderly 88 year old parent struggling while opening her hearing aids so I took it from her to assist her and I struggled to open it as well. This packaging presents challenges for the people who need it most - the elderly.

I'm about ready to spend a little more on Walmart Equate brand batteries just to avoid the packaging, as theirs appears easier to access. I understand the law you're trying to follow, but maybe you can include a video to show members the easiest and fastest way to open these without harming ourselves? I ask my boyfriend to cut the packaging for me and then I just carry singles with me in my wallet or purse. Not exactly convenient.
