Former hearing aid specialist

Batteries are good as usual. Packaging is horrible. It’s not only child safe but also adult safe? Next to impossible to get open.

Mrs

The packages are extremely hard to get into. You had some a while back and I thought these were the same, but they're not.

We are sorry for your experience with the battery packaging, Rosanne. Please know the packaging was updated to follow Reese’s Law, mandating all button, coin, and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – be contained in child-resistant packaging. We understand the challenge in first opening the packaging but believe once members become more familiar with how it works the easier it becomes to open.

New packaging for 312 hearing aid batteries.

The packaging is difficult to open. It takes a pair of scissors to get the batteries out of the packaging.

Hearing aid battery packaging sucks!

I hate the way the hearing aid batteries are packaged. I’m sure it is not Sam's fault, but you should let the battery companies know you customers hate the changed packaging!!!

Another Difficult-to-Open Package

I bought these believing the package worked like other circular packages I've had with an opening to retrieve one battery at a time. Wrong! If anything it is even more difficult that the prior divisible Members Mark flat package with 60 batteries.

Terrible packaging

The money saved over the Walgreens brand hearing aid batteriesis not worth the hassle of trying to open a 6-Pack "card" of 312 units. Why can they not be like most of the other brands? Spin the "wheel",lift the tab, and out it comes. Even with sicissors or toe nail clippers it's a challange to extract 2 batteries from the card..Have your R&D people attempt to access a battery while sitting in a stopped car or at an office desk...even with sicissors. Thanks for letting me vent!

Poor packaging.

The batteries are fine - so far. However, the packaging is horrible. Each battery is incapsulated in a bullet proof plastic jacket that cannot be opened by a healthy human (except for hearing loss). After fighting it for 10 minutes to open one battery I resorted to using scissors to cut along each side of the battery to get it out. Bad design.

I love the packaging. However, you make it hard to retrieve the batteries. You first need a pair of scissors to cut the small pack open. Then you need to pry open the pack. These last two parts make it difficult for seniors, especially seniors on the go.
