Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 70" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN70TU700DFXZA forLasted exactly 1 year then died
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several Samsung TVs and generally they are pretty good. This unit was lightly used and the screen went out at almost exactly 1 year of use. The sound still works so it is like the good old days of staring at a radio.
Hi FloridaManWithNoTV, We are sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your TU7000 TV. Samsung prides itself on high-quality products and a great customer experience. Please know we are here to help you. If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, it's entirely possible it could be your external device and not your TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue: 1. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After reconnecting the external device, could you turn it off and back on? 3. Test the HDMI cable. Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 4. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting to a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. TU7000 has many features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good picture quality and sound compared to other brands. Can connect to your PC and display on TV. The universal remote was easy to setup with other accessories. Also included Samsung TV Plus and easy to add other apps or surf the internet.
Smooth operator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is just smooth in operation and setup even with my spectrum and dvd player love it. My xxxxxx smart tv is just complicated and is just a pain. Not my Samsung's. Just got a new 65 for another home
43" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was very easy to set up. Easy step by step hook up as soon as I put in WIFI log in and password it started to connect to Samsung channels. It was easy to set up all our streaming apps. The picture is great. I have it set up on the wall in the master bedroom and we only stream at this time. I also hooked the TV up to a small digital antenna. I was amazed how many channels it picked up, more then all my other TVs I have. It takes a few minutes to figure out the remote once it is done you can maneuver any where you want. I cant complaint about anything on this TV. I love my Samsung 4k Smart TV.
MY FIRST SAMSUNG TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] “My First Samsung TV” At first it was challenging, It took 2 tries, the Team came in remotely and now it's running well. Great reception and it's good to know that the team is just a call away. A bit too much ads, but I guess it is what it is.
Hi, We appreciate your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 TV. Please know that Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, which removes the channels from your default guide. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove.’ 2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. Big beautiful midrange TV audio sync issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV in a large living room. The screen size and resolution are great, but reflected light is noticeable. There are some artifacts around characters during high resolution scenes with lots of movement. My biggest gripe is that I cannot adjust the sound delay far enough to get audio synchronized with video. I can only increase audio delay, not video delay. Very frustrating. A software or firmware update could potentially fix this in the future
Great Tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this for my den. The whole family has made their way into being in there more often then with the other televisions. The smart TV aspect is flawless, and despite the remote have small buttons, it is very intuitive.
Impressive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my spectacular TV last week and fell in love. The set up was so easy and signing into my apps were simple and Samsung gave great tips on doing it. The software updated on its own and installed their apps. I browsed through their apps and found a lot that I will be watching! The picture is wonderful!!! If i didn't know better I would think the TV is 3d. It is so clear and vibrant colors. I am amazed and quite astonished by the quality of this TV. The colors are exceptional, vibrant and beautiful. The Netflix app was easy to access and the remote is user friendly.
