DO NOT BUY. Samsung lasts 2 years max. Then breaks, just as the warranty expires. We have to “babysit” our washing machine. It takes up to 2.5 hours for one load because each load goes off balance when spinning. So much water wasted. Went to my mom’s condo to do her laundry in her community laundry room because her Samsung stackable washing machine’s belt shredded (causing major plumbing issues), 2 weeks after 2 week warranty expired. Her community washer was a Samsung (same as mine). It took 2.5 hours to do one load because it kept going off balance on spin cycle. I had to readjust laundry and restart spin cycle 7 times, just like home machine. Do not buy!

I bought both and the washer and dryer about a month and I feel like I made the biggest mistake. The washer machine is horrible, no matter the size of the load my clothes are never fully clean! I always have to wash the load twice or more. It’s so frustrating because he takes all day to wash two loads. The dryer is just as bad if not worst. The dryer is overly sensitive, it takes hours to dry a load, which only works if you set it to time dry! Please save your money and shop a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately it has been many years since I have had a brand new washing machine so this was a bit of a splurge for me. I was a little apprehensive at first but am I glad I took the plunge and made this purchase. It confused me at first that the water didn't immediately start running into the drum but after doing a little research I realized it was calculating how much water to put in for the load that I was washing. I really like that it uses more water as I try my best to be energy conscious and conservative. I love being able to look into the glass lid and see what stage the machine is in. I find it fascinating that the agitator and the drum move in opposite directions. The drum is really large for those big items that I previously had to take to an external laundry. Washing bedspreads and comforters will now be much easier. There are so many different settings but by far my favorite is the presoak option. My roommate is an auto mechanic and his clothes are really stained and dirty when he comes in from work. Washing them now has become a breeze! We no longer have to continue to reset the machine so that they get a good soak. I haven't quite mastered the Smart Things app. That will be a work in process but I look forward to doing more research and learning how to master this machine. I am really pleased with it!

It now comes with an active water jet so you can pre-treat your laundry before you start the wash cycle, speaking of that it has 12 preset wash Cycles. With Samsungs new technology, this washer reduces noise and vibration. This new washer has a soft closing lid so it doesn't slam, it's self-cleaning, it has 10 different wash options, five different temperature settings, and five different soil settings. Plus with the filters, it also helps to remove pet hair from your laundry. This thing is absolutely awesome. We did several loads this week and I can wash a full load of clothes now in 28 minutes. If you use the SmartThings app you can monitor the wash cycles and schedule the washer to start or stop

The biggest learning curve for us - why didn't the water beginning filling the tub immediately? The washer actually spins to sense and identify the load mass, then calculates the needed washer and time. Only then does the actual water begin to fill. I had to look online to find out tidbit and appreciate the fellow reviewers that had stated so. After our learning curve, we are looking forward to17 Washing cycles. So many options and choices that we've only tested a handful in the week we have had it. Impressive items on the Washer are the WaterJet options (no sink needed), agitator for extra cleaning, and Super Speed Wash, decreasing the overall time. * I love the WaterJet option since a sink is not near the Washing Machine. * The Agitator is doing all as claimed by Samsung. I was able to watch it spin and work through the glass top. Software: SmartThings and Smart Care * SmartThings is a fantastic app. Not only does it provide real time information for your washing cycle, it helps understands all the available configuration options. The User Interface (UI) is very easy to use and follow. The barcode on the physical washer made it super easy for the software installation. * Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app. Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Washer and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

It is large capacity and can handle big items like comforters, king size bedding and many many towels or clothing items. It is quiet and easy to set temperature and cycle settings. We also love that there's an app for our phone so we can check on it if need be or it lets us know when the wash is completed. What a great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a previous Samsung washing machine I had. This one’s even better. Big tub, very quiet and seems to wash the clothes more efficiently than my old washer. If I had to pick one thing, I didn’t like about it it would be the top portion of the washing machine is plastic. This area you lean on when you’re trying to get clothes in and out and I’m afraid someday it may crack. Other than this, this is a great washing machine that I would definitely Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was easy to set up, it's easy to use, all of the different options are fantastic! It is SO quiet you can't hardly even tell it's running! If there is any negative it would be that you cannot put throw rugs or mats in it, but that is because of sand and dirt that can damage it.

Run for your life from this washer! If you like a high water bill then get it! Unfortunately it can’t handle spinning large and even small loads. It’s very iffy. Sometimes it will sometimes it won’t even after adjusting the load. It gets out of balance and then fills back up with fresh water multiple times until it’s balanced where it feels fit. We tried replacing the springs it seemed to help at first then back to UR or UB code. Until I get a new washer I can trust I have to babysit my laundry while I use this machine to make sure it doesn’t keep filling with water all day just to spin water from the laundry. Shameful!

At first, I replaced with a competitor but within the first two hours of testing I was on the phone scheduling a return pick up. The other brand was so loud that it could be heard on the other side of my home. Quickly went to a different vendor and purchased Samsung. So pleased with all the settings and it sounds much quieter than returned competitors product.
