[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a few months ago to replace my old Samsung washer and am happy I did! At first, I replaced with a competitor but within the first two hours of testing I was on the phone scheduling a return pick up. The other brand was so loud that it could be heard on the other side of my home. Quickly went to a different vendor and purchased Samsung. So pleased with all the settings and it sounds much quieter than returned competitors product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new Samsung washer, especially playing with the many cycle options it has and using the App. Some highlights of the features of the washer in this set are as follows - 1) Ability to download cycles is unique. the set up was easy to follow 2) The washer is very large capacity. This is helpful for large families or bulky items. 3) There are multiple setting and temperature features. This is very handy if you need to vary cycles to to content of the fabric. You can change the temp, speed of cycle, rinse cycles. 4) I really like the ability to add more rinse cycles - this is helpful if someone has sensitive skin. 5) I like the ability to delay the wash periods as well. Having a smart washer is a handy and unique feature. 6) It is relatively quiet to operate 7) I like that it is energy efficient and seems to use the minimum amount of water required. 8) There is a detailed manual that prints online that gives detailed instructions on how to operate the washer. This is easy to read and handy - it would have been great if this was included so I did not have to print or download and save, but it is helpful and not printing saves trees. Some of the characteristics I think could use improvement - 1) While I like the capacity of the washer - it is very tall and I cannot reach the bottom of it without a stool. This is a significant disadvantage. I am 5'4" or reference, but I don't think a 5'6" person could reach the bottom either. The design needs to be flattened a bit - it is just too tall. 2) The quick cycle only works with small loads. - it references 4lbs in the manual, but what does that mean? it takes a lot of clothes to make 4 lbs - is that wet clothes. I tried to quick wash a down blanket and the top would not get wet so obviously it did not get clean. There needs to be a quick cycle for heavy items. 3) I am still experimenting with super speed, but the cycle times are very long. 4) The soap dispenser stays wet - I have not had a problem with odor yet, but I am concerned about that. Overall, I think this washer has met my expectations so far. There are a few items above that I think can use improvement. However, overall the clothes seem to come out clean. The set looks very nice and modern. The washer is very large capacity which is excellent. I have not had any issues with stains not coming out the first wash. Overall, I think Samsung has made a good washer.

My old washer I had to pour the detergent into the actual machine itself making such a mess, but this washing machine comes with a compartment for detergent, fabric softener, and bleach! Self clean feature is excellent keeping the machine away from the build up etc. Also I noticed a little tune when the cycle is finished.You can set everything up in the SmartThings app without get up so many options.The washer also came with a water spills .Samsung thought of everything.

We've had this for about 8 months now and have overall been happy with the performance. The capacity is great and the cleaning power is great if you can find the right settings. The controls/settings are the downside. They're a bit confusing to understand what you need for your specific load. It's also annoying that on startup it resets to the same default setting which is never the one you're going to use even for a "normal" load so you're pressing buttons to adjust settings on every load. I do find that I end up using the "deep fill" option more than I expected on bigger loads to really get things fully clean. Once you get used to the settings it does perform well overall. We were also very happy with the perks you get on buying appliances from Sams Club. Much better value than the home improvement stores and the pricing at Sams is equal or better even before factoring in the perks, so I would definitely recommend Sams for your appliance purchases in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has numerous cycle options and even ones you can download though the SmartThings app. I also like that the app will tell you when a cycle is over, so you know when to go switch your clothes around. This is helpful when you don't hear the really long singing chime at the end of a cycle. I really like how clean my clothes are coming out compared to my old washer. This machine is very quiet, and washes load quickly. I am impressed with it so far. It is very user friendly. It is very deep, and I have to use a step stool to reach all the way in to retrieve my items at the end of a cycle, but that is a minor inconvenience. I have had it come unbalanced with my bedding, so I will have to see what the proper size load with that is right for the bedding setting, but otherwise I have had no issues and would recommend this washer. I have three pets and I do think this washer helps to remove the hair off of my clothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first time owning a topload washer, we were skeptical about it, but the washing cycle runs very quiet, spin cycle is also very quiet.. actually quieter than out old frontload washer. I connected my washer dryer set to Smartthings, it gives me notification when the cycle is done, I can even check in the app what exactly going now now and how much time is left. Large capacity but fits perfectly in our tiny laundry room.. Love the overall look.. Thumbsup from me!!

This washer has a design flaw in the suspension rods. The damper will not last long and when is damaged it will affect the spin cycle causing unbalanced load error. I had this problem after just a year and a half. You can change the suspensions rods by yourself but that will not solve the problem, they will be damaged again in 2-3 months. If you call the repair service it will cost at least half of the price of the washer. It is unbelievable that they are still selling this machine! Avoid to waste your money with the top load and buy a front load!

has Energy Star rating, most likely because spin is 750 rpm. (front loaders more like 1200 rpm). leaves items like jeans, flannel wet. increased my dry time x2. Energy savings??? Also no separate spin- only cycle ; this would allow one to reorganize the clothes and drain more water. on the plus side: deep fill, deep wash provides water to roughly 3/4 full, so real capacity is less, closer to 4cft, but that is still good. Does not clean as well as I would like, but good enough for today's machines. I would LOVE this machine if the spin was repeatable as a separate cycle OR they brought up the spin to 1000-1100 rpm. Lose the useless Energy Star designation and give us a machine that is AMAZING in flexibility.

Being a large capacity machine it does take longer to run but I wanted a machine that will handle king sized quilts and it does beautifully! Will definitely be purchased a Samsung dryer when my current one gives up the ghost!
