Can sometimes find a batch not trimmed well with pretty meat on top covering up inferior meat underneath. Not so with this purchase. Great trim. Great taste.

Great deal on meat for stew or home made vegetable soup and enoughin a package for two meals. Very lean and great taste. Usually buy roast and cut it up myself but this was a better deal and already cut up for me.

I'm terrible disappointed that the package of stew meat I bought said it weighed 2.81 pounds but when I weighed it at home because my recipe only called for 2 pounds it only weighed 2.13 pounds. Probably why you don't see any scales in the Grand Forks ND store anywhere.

This came in my delivery order, had to trim gristle and veins, about a pound wasted. Not sure I will buy this again unless I inspect it before buying. Two stars for what remained, I made goulash with it. Too much work prepping the meat that I could use.

While there was a lot of meat in the package, the cuts were not good. Instead of diced stew meat, at least half of the package was made up of large flat pieces. I figured this would be okay when cooked down, but after being in a crockpot all day for beef stew, the meat is still tough and almost gristly. Not a single piece cooked down to be tender. I don't know if this was just a bad batch or something, but it has deterred me from buying my stew meat from here in the future.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I have purchased this stew meat numerous times over the years and have not been disappointed; I could with confidence open the packet and throw the meat into the dutch oven. Today, however, I find the pieces of beef have been sloppily hacked without skill and/or care. In addition to the meat being extremely fatty, huge chucks of fat are also mixed in, the silver skin is still on and troublesome to remove from the little pieces of meat. The pieces are not in chunks as they usually are. There are pieces cut more appropriately for chopped steak; other pieces are big and flat. I’ve been trying to sift through the pieces and have been throwing the pieces into the Dutch oven but it’s been a half hour and I still have half of the tray to go. I am disgusted by this mess and the time it is taking to get this meal started. I’m going to throw this mess into a sack and bringing all back to the club to try to get a refund. I am tired of the prices rising and the quality and quantity declining for numerous products. I’m tired of bringing home products pulled for me that are dropped and damaged or near expiration or that go bad after a day or two in the fridge. En balance we pay more for the convenience of ordering on the app and curbside pickup. As time goes by I increasingly question if it’s worth it. In addition, I took pictures and went into settings on my phone and allowed everything and the photos will still not upload.
