Saw this large package of stewmeat at Sam's Club so I purchased it. As I divided it up for the freezer I noticed a lot of fat and gristle, a lot of time was spent cutting all this off. I would rather spend a little more for a better cut.

We use this for beef stew or stir fry. Brown it in an instant pot, then add a little broth, juice, or water. Add carrots, potatoes, onions, and turn on slow cook or pressure cook. Tastes wonderful.

Best quality meat around for the price. We usually shop at another local grocery chain, which has great prices, but we found the meat to be much fattier than the Member's Mark. This is much leaner and a better value for the price.

Used vacuum sealer and made three portions. Cooked one portion in slow cooker then served as beef tips and rice with a side salad. Excellent flavor, very tender and cost per portion was extremely economical .

It all looks great in the pictures but it is deceiving. A lot of chuncks of unedible fat that has to be cut out and discarded inside this pack. It was a good value and got a good amount of it but not as advertised. The picture is misleading!

These beef cubes were not the right cut for beef stew. After 3 his the meat still wasn't tender. Fibrous and chewy. Loss of time and money. The butcher thought these were cut from Chuck, but i don't think so, wasn't much fat content.

These beef cubes have a really nice flavor. They make great stews, soups, chili, and in a pinch beef stroganoff. I like to use it fresh and freeze the remaining in meal size portions.

Excellent quality, fairly priced stew meat. Stew is a go-to for my family. With the recent storms I made a pot of stew enjoyed by all at home. The meat was tasty and tender.

Mostly meaty chunks with just a few grissle ~ I had about 6 pieces I had to trim down, and 2 pieces I just tossed out = pure fat and / or grissle. Remaining pieces were very tasty and not tough at all making them easy to chew.

Nicely trimmed and tasty beef stew meat. I like to quickly braise and then slow cook them. Delicious in beef stew, soups, or as tips with a gravy type sauce. Another idea, marinate and add them to kabobs!
