[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator when our other refrigerator unexpectedly failed. We chose this brand because of it’s high ratings with both JD Power and Consumer Reports. This is our first experience with an LG appliance. We love the spacious interior, shelf layout, LED lighting and overall design. The French doors and two-drawer freezer compartments are spacious and make food storage and access easy. Fingerprints are easily removed from the stainless steel exterior by wiping it with a microfiber towel, Very quiet operation. Deducted one star because the in-door ice maker holds only a small amount of ice. Also, the refrigerator temperature only cools down to 37-degrees when 34-degrees is selected on the front control panel. The freezer compartment temperature stays at 0-degrees as selected. It does do an excellent job of maintaining consistent temperatures in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The WiFi connectivity and LG phone app is useful to monitor energy use, provide diagnostics and other information. It would be much more useful if it would provide push notifications for abnormal temperatures or component failures. Overall we are very pleased with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't want the double freezer drawers but have come to appreciate not having to dig around the freezer for something. My husband likes the smaller ice cubes and it makes a decent amount of ice for us. The only place to put wine bottles is with the shelf partially closed so you lose some shelf space if you only have one or two bottles in. I wish the ice/water would still work with the other door opened.

I bought this refrigerator few weeks ago. When the fridge was delivered there was a small dent on the right door. Otherwise the fridge was working great and has awesome features as expected. The LG customer service team was efficient and the entire parts replacement process was smooth and done professionally on a timely manner. Really happy with the service.

I am extraordinarily happy with my new black stainless refrigerator. This time around I got a standard depth rather than the currently popular counter depth. This one obviously has way more room and the doors are not being nicked by hitting the side counter. I especially love the amount of room the door trays have, there is so much that fits in them. All in all it was a wise and happy experience (if one can get happy over a fridge). There are two items however which can be improved upon; a light in the lower freezer drawer and since I am handicapped I did not realize the freezer drawers slide closed unless they are held open which is difficult for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ice maker stopped working at 7 months and freezer stopped freezing (still works as a refrigerator though). Repairman said needs new compressor that they don't have in stock yet. Still waiting a month after reporting.

The is a terrible refrigerator. Has a faulty compressor that fails. Cost us over $500 in food. The LG app is worse than worthless, it is dangerous. Even after a complete compressor failure it continued to tell me everything was fine. As someone told me, if you buy and LG geet a second one from another brand so you have someplace to put your food when the LG fails. Further, LG new of the issue and never notified us to have them look at it. Told everyone I know to stay away from LG.

Wife was reading in living room and hears water running from water dispenser. water all over kitchen. had to shut water feed off no other way to stop it.
