[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace an older LG version of the same style that had lost its capacity to maintain freezing temperature in the freezer. This version has larger shelves in the door, which add to the storage capacity. So far, it is exceeding expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has taken the place of two that I had. I can fit the turkey, all casseroles and sides for Thanksgiving with no problems along with other items. The ice make does not hold many cubes though and clogs easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has almost all the features we want. With covid, we had little choice on refrigerators available. We got the french doors and in door ice/water we wanted. We saw that there was an ice basket in freezer, but didn't realize there is no ice maker there. This really doesn't produce nearly the amount of ice as past refrigerators, as the door holder is small. It also makes a very strange kind of vibrating coil sound a few times a day that is very loud. Thankfully it only lasts a few seconds at a time. Was told that this is 'normal' but not clear what it is doing when this happens. Wish that the door shelves were height adjustable and that the interior shelves were also more adjustable. Finding that we have had to adjust how we use the fridge, rather than having it adjust to us. We have heard from friends with same fridge that there is an issue with the doors in that after a time the door open chime continues to sound continuously even with doors closed and that this is a known problem with this model. They have removed the chime sound on/off option in controls and the only way to fix is to replace the entire door. We anxiously await this problem for ours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The self closing drawers are great. Might it be possible to make the French doors self closing? The fresh air filter is a nice feature but installing and removing is hard especially for senior citizens

We just recently renovated our kitchen after 18years.... Switching from black appliances to stainless. After researching and looking at various brands and models we settled on this model for it's overall refrigerated space and the dual freezer drawers. We choose all LG appliances and are enjoying learning how to use all the cool features!

Apparently, LG has been having a problem with their linear compressors. Do some serious research before you consider purchasing one of their refrigerators with a linear compressor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to buy an LG refrigerator, but we didn't have a lot of options because we wanted our refrigerator delivered ASAP since our old refrigerator broke. Because of COVID, other brands were on back order, and we would have had to wait at least a month for a new fridge and that wasn't an option. The new fridge is quite a lot bigger than our old fridge so it's easier to organize. We love the double door freezer as it lets us put items we use the most at the top for better organization. My biggest concern is that even though there is a water filter, I can still taste chlorine in the water when it comes out. We've only had the refrigerator for a couple of months. I hope that it lasts and doesn't cause us any issues per various reviews I have read about LG products.

The chime on the door when its left open is nice too, we use it more than I thought we would. The two drawers for freezer are convenient and easy to find often used things.

I love my fridge but after 5 years the compressor gave out. After 2 weeks of toing and froing with the company I finally got it replaced. It’s back to its back being cold and like new. Just wish I hadn’t had to go through the 2 weeks without a fridge or freezer as I lost everything n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought this about 3 weeks ago and I am still learning how to use everything. To date, the main problem is the slamming of the left door. The technician tried to adjust the door, but unless you hold the handle it still slams(hard). The area created for the tall bottles (sliding shelf) is not large enough. It does not help with the organization of the refrigerator's content. the gaskets on the door appear to be very thin. Hope they last.
