[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge in 2017. Last year the compressor started making noises. The compressor quit after the 5th year of owning the fridge. It has worked really well up to the point where the compressor quit. Hoping the new compressor last longer than 5 years. There is a lawsuit against LG for the number of compressors that have failed, but they have been replacing them at no cost with a updated version.

The water from this refrigerator is cold enough but the taste is not improved by the filter. After running at least 4 gallons through the lines, water still has a moldy/plastic taste. I will change the filter to see if that helps. The refrigerator also arrived with a dent in the top freezer drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the LG French Door refrigerator a couple of years ago and have enjoyed the spaciousness and versatility it offers. We did experience one problem with the cooling system that was totally repaired by LG, even though we were out of the regular warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you use a lot of ICE this one isn't for you. LG knows nothing about ICE MAKERS. Small supply of tiny cubes that are hard to get at without using the dispenser. The French Doors jam almost closed which is the reason for the little jingle that tells you the door is still open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about my refrigerator. I would give it a 4 , but when it was delivered a door handle was dented. Other than that its works great. Kid friendly as well seeing that I can’t keep my little ones out the refrigerator.

I bought this fridge 2 years ago and it worked wonderfully until 3 months ago when the entire sealed system failed. Thank good we got the protection plan otherwise it would have cost us nearly the same price to fix as what we bought it for. I have heard LG is notorious for this failure, will not be purchasing from LG again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There were lots of brands and styles to choose from. After searching multiple sources, I decided to go with all LG appliances in my kitchen. I like the size of this refrig and I like the convenience of ice and water on the door. It has all the features I wanted. I will recommend this one to my friends if they are in need of a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the roomy refrigerator space and ample Freezer space too. It really helps to have a two drawer Freezer so that you can get to everything very easily. I should have researched the ice a little more. It's nice that it is a slim design but that also means it doesn't carry as much ice as the older horizontal Ice Makers. I could leave with this though as that does allow for more Refrigerator/Freezer space.

Every time we get ice I have to open the ice maker and break up the ice that has frosted solid so it will feed through the dispenser and make more ice. The refrigerator and freezer work fine but the ice maker is the worst.
