I bought this fridge 2 years ago and it worked wonderfully until 3 months ago when the entire sealed system failed. Thank good we got the protection plan otherwise it would have cost us nearly the same price to fix as what we bought it for. I have heard LG is notorious for this failure, will not be purchasing from LG again.

I love my fridge but after 5 years the compressor gave out. After 2 weeks of toing and froing with the company I finally got it replaced. It’s back to its back being cold and like new. Just wish I hadn’t had to go through the 2 weeks without a fridge or freezer as I lost everything n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new LG refrigerator for 3 weeks. I am a cake decorator and needed the extra space for tiered cakes. It was put to the test last weekend and passed with flying colors! Love the well-lit space in both refrigerator and freezer drawers.

We love the easy access to everything. The ice dispenser had no problem keeping up with 6 adults home for the holidays. I bought little clear containers for the snack drawer - and the little and big kids liked that they could see what was there. It's super roomy and my daughter loved the shelf that could accommodate very tall items. I like that all my little condements on on the doors and not taking refrigerator space. The freezer is a little smaller than my last one which was full of food I forgot I had - so this will give me a better view of what I have so I don't waste food.

Every time we get ice I have to open the ice maker and break up the ice that has frosted solid so it will feed through the dispenser and make more ice. The refrigerator and freezer work fine but the ice maker is the worst.

Top drawer freezer is very effective in preventing us from bending over to get the frozen items we use very often. For us this is the main feature that made us to choose this model. Also, well designed fridge yielding lots of room for all different items. It is running so quiet, no noise at all - amazing. So far so Great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been happier with this refrigerator than I would have imagined. The small freezer compartment works perfectly for me & my husband. We put our "everyday" items there for smoothies and keep the ice container full for scooping into water bottles. The ice dispenser (on front of refrig) is pretty wimpy but I had read that & was prepared. The shelving and storage space in the refrigerator is perfect. We do find milk doesn't get cold enough for us in the door space but does so inside the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this fridge for two and a half years now. Overall, we are pretty satisfied. We had an issue with a component that burnt out due to dust collection in the back--had to have the component replaced. The tech said we need to vacuum out the dust at least once a year. Seems strange to have to do that. We love how the water and ice dispenser is set up. It's pretty convenient. The two drawer freezer is something that we wish we had thought about more. I would have chosen a unit with just one freezer drawer, plus one with an ice maker in the freezer. We didn't think we would need an ice maker in the lower freezer, but now we know we would. Again, overall it's been a nice fridge.

The water from this refrigerator is cold enough but the taste is not improved by the filter. After running at least 4 gallons through the lines, water still has a moldy/plastic taste. I will change the filter to see if that helps. The refrigerator also arrived with a dent in the top freezer drawer.
