[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this refrigerator for 3 years in August. When the refrigerator was 1 year old, 2 components needed replacing. Two years after that, when the refrigerator was 3 years old, we came home from vacation and walked into our house that smelled atrocious! We quickly realized that the refrigerator had broken while we were away and everything in it had spoiled. The compressor had broken. Also, the ice maker/water dispenser in the door also was broken. I will never buy another LG refrigerator.

Every time we get ice I have to open the ice maker and break up the ice that has frosted solid so it will feed through the dispenser and make more ice. The refrigerator and freezer work fine but the ice maker is the worst.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 weeks ago. Freezer drawers don’t stay open to load. Tried leveling, but didn’t work. No light in bottom freezer drawer. Have to switch back from water to ice. Didn’t have to do this on previous model we owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the refrigerator overall. But my beef is with the owner’s manual and the WiFi link. The manual basically does not say anything. No explanation of the control panel, cryptic on the WiFi usage, and some description is apparently about other models. Another thing is I still don’t understand why LG bothered to offer a WiFi link. I did link it up with my iPhone, but why do I need it? Do anybody change the temperature setting?

No need to open the refrigerator doors to get to a pitcher of cold water. I keep a plastic cup on the shelf beneath the water spout and have been drinking water as my doctor says is so vital.

We are very happy with all the room we now have in the refrigerator. The only thing that could be improved is the ice and water dispenser labeling is hard to read in low light conditions and you have to look real close to make a proper selection.

Running noise is average; ice maker dispenser makes funny sounds Volume: Less volume than others of this size. Two-drawer freezer is a convenience, but at the cost of storage volume. Overall design: Poorly thought-out: Need to open both doors in order to use right-hand bin. Need to open both doors Wide to use (very) shallow bottom drawer. Overall, an annoying design.

I buy in bulk and did not realize how small it actually was until I went shopping and tried to put all the frozen food away. My old refrigerator could hold even more. Love that the refrigerator has more room, great for parties!
