My wife and I really like the black stainless steel look and the two drawer freezer. This one seems to really keep things colder with less effort. I do miss the convenience of the door in a door but other than that, I like this on way better.

However, we had to return the 1st unit we purchased because its water dispenser had a very oily smell and taste. We exchanged it for our current unit, the same model, but it had the same problem but was resolved by switching out some parts in the water filtration system. Our compressor also got very noisy, eventually failed, and LG installed a new compressor for free. It runs much quieter now and cools much better.

Love the shelf that slides back for tall items. Plenty of door storage. Runs quiet. Interior lighting is really good. Shelving sturdy. Love the separate freezer spaces. Makes it easy to organize frozen goods. The large lower tray in the refrigerator is multifunctional. Will follow up in the future regarding reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of refrigerator space, shelf adjusting options. Indoor icemaker tends to stack ice in one spot so it sometimes doesn't dispense and has to be manually moved around in the storage bin. Double freezer drawers are wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago to replace my side by side refrigerator. Now I have much more space in the refrigerator section, but in the freezer section I have less space than in my older side by side. The other difference is the small reservoir of ice. If you have some friends over you probably will need to buy ice. The outside coat is print proof and easy to clean. It really just works if your hands are clean and dry. I constantly cleaning the doors. The material of the water dispenser is not promising a long life, even with just 3 months of use ( I will upload the photo). Overall I am happy with this refrigerator.

Looks like the latest LG has upgraded the compressor. One thing that is not with the newer refrigerator is the ability to adjust the shelves inside the door...that was a pretty neat feature on the "older" refrigerator. Otherwise, this is a topnotch refrigerator.

My daughter went with me to look at them anyhow and I fell in love with this one. So much room and the freezer having two drawers you can organize the freezer items. I absolutely am so happy and love it!

This has been one of the best purchases we have ever made. The unit is laid out well, the ice maker works better than we could ever imagine. The LG is very good choice, not only for refrigerators, but other appliances as well. We bought an LG washer and dryer. The success and quality of those appliances are just as good as the refrigerator.

Very nice to have an appliance in the kitchen that has eye appeal as well as superior function. Wonder if the fact that we have three LG TVs had anything to do with our decision to continue the brand in our kitchen? Hmmmmmm
