I purchased this refrigerator to replace a n LG refrigerator that was only 9 years old. I replaced to solenoid valves in the ice maker and water dispenser when the unit was in use only 5 years. Four years later the compressor gave out. I ordered this Unit in August to replace the failed unit and did not receive it until November. I was lucky in that I had a 27 year old Matag Refrigerator that I could use while waiting for delivery. I hope this LG lasts as long an the Matag, but I really don't expect it will.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On suggestion is to work in the drawer size do the crispers. You have to open both doors to pull drawers all the way out.  I feel like the drawer should open with only it’s associated single door being open. Besides that it is a great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Black Stainless and this has got to be the most beautiful refrigerators that I have ever seen. Although I have only had this baby for a month, it has so far proven to be a very sound machine. No noise unless you keep a door open too long. And the space, my goodness, you could fit a whole cow in it! I love having the 2 freezer compartments as they are great to keep the most used items in the top drawer for quick access. The only drawback is there are not as many door shelves as I was accustomed to with my side by side but there is so much space on the shelves that items are very easy to spot so I am becoming more comfortable with that issue.

The door bins are perfect for organizing the jars that can clutter a refrigerator. The interior glass shelves provide excellent visual access along with convenient storage. I LOVE having two freezer drawers as they facilitate easy organization of frozen foods and quick retrieval. In short, this is the best, best, best refrigerator EVER and I’d happily give it 6 stars if I could!

It took almost 4 weeks to get the new parts, meanwhile food is spoiling and very little ice, from the ice maker. The repairs where done and everything seems to be working for now.

It definitely accommodates more food than my previous fridge, especially the freezer-I love the freezer two drawer design for keeping things organized. The feature of melodically alerting me to an open door is also appreciated. Overall I’m very glad I purchased this appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it so far. It has a lot of upper fridge space with the ice maker built into the left door. We have to be careful closing that door because the added weight of the ice makes the door shut a bit forcefully. We purchased the black stainless that resists fingerprints and it really does. You would actually have to have gunk or food on your hand to leave a print. I also like having the two bottom freezer drawers because I put only meats in the bottom drawer, thus I have to do less digging thru my freezer to find what I’m looking for. I also really like the smaller size I cubes the ice maker “makes”!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I noticed was the fresh vegetables lasting much longer. Especially leafy greens like romaine lettuce and cilantro. My old fridge would have it brown in 3 days. My juice and milk is much colder as well. And the SPACE, holy cow. my old fridge was side by side 24 cf, this one is 27 cf. Just the layout itself makes such a huge difference. Leftovers aren't missed and too old by the time you find them. Just can't say enough. Hooking water up this weekend, so can't review that just yet.

It makes it much easier to organize our food and find what we're looking for. I also love that the ice maker is built into the door therefore not taking up a lot of room in the refrigerator. It would be nice if it were a little bigger though. I've read other comments about the noise level but I honestly don't think it's loud at all. One con about it, however, is that the water dispenser is a little on the slow side and the water also does not come out very cold. Overall, though, it's a great refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used to have an LG side by side, and decided to get the French door refrigerator, and what a difference it is! Nothing gets lost in the back anymore, and the front lit LED lighting is a great addition as it lights up the whole area instead of the light getting blocked from something large blocking the light from the back! The two drawer freezer is a game changer because you never end up covering anything up at the bottom, and have to throw food out because you never see it like our old side by side. The Wi-Fi enabled app is useful, you get notifications when you need to replace the water filter, or fresh air filter, temperature settings, energy settings, and food management. The ice maker, and water in the door takes up very little space compared to the competition freeing up space to accommodate more food. It’s great to have filtered water right from the refrigerator instead of buying bottled water every week! Overall we love our new LG French door refrigerator, we did a lot of research on the web, and YouTube prior to making a purchase, and having an LG refrigerator for the last 10 years, our confidence level was sky high! We will be buying another when we finish our basement.
