[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new fridge a month ago and it has been so nice. The conference of the in door ice and water, the special drawers for fruits/veggies and meats, and the freezer drawers on the bottom are wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research and years of experience with a different brand's double door refrigerator, we bought this fridge. LG's reputation and also some of the fridge design features prompted me tp choses this over other competitive models. WE have now owned this equipment for over two years.The interior is superbly designed: the large door trays for gallons of milk, OJ, etc. are superb as is the door shelf placement flexibility. The interior shelves equally are easy to adjust and accommodate the plethora of stuff I accumulate (I cook a lot!). Interestingly, unlike the previous fridge we had, the crisper trays do make a difference to the length of time I can keep vegetables and, separately, fruits. I like that a lot! I also like the deli tray (glide and serve?) and although not very deep, this is probably a great feature as it keep the contents at one level and thus always in view when the tray is pulled out. This means it's less likely that I forget a particular package of lunchmeat or cheese and use it before it goes off. The fridge is indeed capacious! The outside is attractive and not at all difficult to keep clean and looking new (I use virgin olive oil to clean it). I am not as equally enthused with the freezer and its drawers, however. I find they hold less than I was able to store in the vertical freezer I previously owned. And what I do have stored can be difficult sometimes to both find (tray depth and multiple levels of packages) or actually store and then successfully close the drawer. This is true for both top and bottom drawers, in my experience. Again, I do have a lot of things stored from either opportunistic purchase of sale-priced stuff or simply a variety of things for meals through the week. (I try to keep grocery shopping trips to a minimum as there are four of us in the house). The ice maker can also be problematic: given the amount of food in the freezer drawers, I can't store excess ice and therefore the small in-door capacity can be far too little when we have guests, for example. This is despite the 'Ice Plus' function which, frankly, doesn't seem to be of much use. The same may be said about the app: for all intents and purposes, it’s useless. The only possible use might be to view the power usage statistics, which leads me to a serious issue: compressor failure. About two years after purchase it started to make increasingly loud vibration noises. It became obvious that it wasn’t a simple mounting problem as the food in the freezer eventually started to defrost: it was indeed the compressor.I called the help line to arrange a repair. I was able to arrange an engineer to very quickly come out within three days and replace the failed unit and everything subsequently seems to be working properly, two months later. However and as an aside, the app showed the huge increase in power usage that led up to the eventual failure of the system and so, had I been more aware, I might’ve pre-empted the situation where some food was spoiled. Finally, the replacement filters are expensive and, to be honest, I have not noticed any degradation in either water quality or air quality in the fridge: this maybe due to having good quality water supply and no spoilt food on the shelves, so I don’t know if this is relevant. In conclusion, I would say that given the price point and the alternatives, this is a good buy and one I would recommend, with maybe one or two reservations. Certainly, I would consider buying one for a replacement, were the need ever to arise!

We absolutely love our new LG 28 cu ft French door refrigerator. Every space in it was so well designed. No wasted space. We also love the two drawer freezer. Everything is very easily assessable. The ice maker works great. Love that it is on the door and not taking up a lot of space in the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this fridge for six months now and I love it. The fridge has adjustable shelves so you can adjust it for your groceries. I love the two separate drawers for the freezer. It’s so much easier to stay organized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement from a 9 year old LFX31925ST because the compressor went out and to $$ to fix. This is my 3rd LG refrigerator and I feel like it is made cheaper than other LGs. The bins are very cheap plastic, not heavy duty, very thin. You have to really push doors to make sure they shut. I hate that the freezer doors will not stay open they slide back when you open them and when you are trying to put something in the freezer you have to keep trying to open it back up. It does work so there is that. I do feel like LG has reduced the quality since I started buying their products.

It has much more usable space than out previous French door refrigerator because the ice maker is in the door. My husband loves the top freezer drawer. His ice cream now has an easy to access location. We love the no fingerprint stainless too.

The only issues so far are the adjustment of the doors, which they supply washers and instructions for and the flap the is spring loaded the fills the gap between the french doors. The door adjustment kinda worked. It certainly looks better than when it was first installed. The flap on the other hand, sticks once in a while. So, you get used to opening and closing the left door without an issue and when it sticks, it smashes into the right door upon closing. Very annoying.

We have recently updated our entire kitchen 8 months ago. All of our appliances have been LG consistantly. With the lastest set we purchased (5 pc) we have already had to have our stove replaced as the paint was chipping away within a week, and now our fridge has been down for 2 weeks. The set is less than a year old and having spent thousands of dollars to have to live out of ice chests with a family of 6 is unacceptable.

The ice maker shaves ice even tho it should be cubed making a mess on the floor when dispensing. Ice maker had to be reset twice due to malfunctioning. The water comes out so fast it sprays outside your glass all over the fridge and floor. Moisture and mold inside the water filter cover. The compressor went out ruining the well stocked fridge and both freezer bins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using for about 3 months now and for the most part I'm VERY pleased with this product. I do however have a couple of dis-likes: 1) Freezer drawers DO NOT stay open and want to close instantly. This is a problem when you're looking for something or re-arranging/filling/cleaning (you must manually hold/wedge them open thus potentially having to one-hand the task); 2) Having to press (more than 1 time) the water/cube/crush button for that function to engage.
