[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent refrigerator and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the ice maker. We have 4 adults living in the house and we run out of ice often. My wife loves her yeti full of ice so she uses a lot. If you don’t need or use much ice this would be an awesome refrigerator. I wish that we would have installed an extra ice maker in the freezer compartment. All the other features are great. The black stainless is beautiful.

I bought this refrigerator in June 2018. Four times failed, starting from 2019 (first failure) until 2022 (three times). In 2019, wrest was forming around the freezer area. In 2022 three times compressor failed. I think the ice maker and water dispenser is the problem area, so it should be a design problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoy the features, shelving, and easy access, but find myself occasionally annoyed by the linear compressor vibration noise. If items inside are too close, the vibration also sometimes causes them to chatter against one another, adding further to the vibration noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator! It occupies the same space as my previous refrigerator, but seems to have so much more usable space. The double freezer allows for much better organization of frozen foods. The refrigerator doors amazingly hold taller items. It is by for the best design and arrangement I have seen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the LG since Nov. It replaced another brand which was 11 years old. I love the fact that the icemaker is in the door, giving me more shelf space, esp for large trays. Also, the bin for ice in the 3rd drawer has become very handy. Initially, I thought the bin was a waste of space. However, my hubby has dementia and forgets how to use the dispenser. He can now just reach into the bin and remove a cup of ice. It is also more convenient when I need a lot of ice at one time. Size of ice cubes is also good. The 4th drawer in this model is great for organizing my food items. It makes it so much easier to sort. Very pleased with this refrigerator.

When I was researching refrigerators, LG had a huge number of models that were highly rated, so I went to the store thinking "maybe." After looking at a few dozen models and many brands, I went to the salesperson with my selection and he said it was a good choice and LG was a great brand. After getting the refrigerator installed, and using it several weeks, I have to say I'm impressed with how spacious it is, how well the space is planned for storage, and how easy it is to keep clean! I also LOVE the two pullout freezer drawers. I can see what's in there and food doesn't get lost ! Happy I decided on LG!!

I ended up with this one which is exactly like the previous one that they replaced everything in it multiple times evey couple months especially the ice maker and its fans. This one has worked as expected. No brake downs in 2 years. I do not like the reworked ice maker water in the door. On this one you have to select ice or water button instead of having a dedicated water and dedicated ice slot as my first one has. You can't even see the button as they are not lit when you walk up so you press all over the place. Poor design all around. Both have a lot of space but the double drawer freezers seem smaller than my old original side by side door fridge.

I bought a LG French door refrigerator 18 months ago. On April 2 I noticed it was not making ice nor cooling properly. I have dealt with LG and 2 of the appliance repair companies and still it is not making ice or cooling properly. Appointments have been made and cancelled twice. It is disappointing, to say the least, and it will be my last LG appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit for 4 months now. I am very happy with it. After it was installed, it needed an adjustment on the left side door to make the center rib flap between the doors properly engage when the door was opened and closed. The control center also indicated a problem with the fan and upon inspection, the installer found some packing material that had not been completely removed. Since then the unit has worked flawlessly. Some things that make this a great refrigerator: Ice maker is in the door - Traditional ice makers are installed inside the cabinet and need precious space to accommodate the ice maker as well as the ice bin. This model places the ice maker and ice bin inside the left door and it takes up no room inside the cabinet. The door still has several shelves to organize bottles and so forth. I was a bit concerned with this location and was unsure if it would make enough ice to keep up with our needs. The cubes are small, so it makes ice quickly and we always seem to have enough. Having the ice maker in the door also frees up a lot of interior space for other things. French Doors - no need to open the entire fridge to get at something stored on one side or the other. Only down side is both doors must be opened in order to open one of the two small fruit/vegetable drawers and to open the large meat drawer. However, the drawers are large, temperature and moisture controlled and hold a lot. Interior Space - lots or room, shelves are adjustable to accommodate various height bottles, food, storage containers, etc. We do incorporate lazy susans on the shelves to help with access to items in the back. Two Freezer Drawers - we use the top drawer for frozen items we get out on a regular basis (prepared meals, frozen veggies, etc) and the bottom drawer for longer term storage. Enough room to sit a frozen pizza flat on top but not to stand on it's side.
