[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement from a 9 year old LFX31925ST because the compressor went out and to $$ to fix. This is my 3rd LG refrigerator and I feel like it is made cheaper than other LGs. The bins are very cheap plastic, not heavy duty, very thin. You have to really push doors to make sure they shut. I hate that the freezer doors will not stay open they slide back when you open them and when you are trying to put something in the freezer you have to keep trying to open it back up. It does work so there is that. I do feel like LG has reduced the quality since I started buying their products.

We have had the refrigerator for about six months. My wife and I were looking for a spacious attractive unit with a bottom freezer. This LG meets these requirements and more. The ice maker is in the door, which allows for additional room on the shelves for other items. The black stainless finish really stands out. So far we love the unit. I wanted to give it 5 stars but could not for the following reasons: 1: The left French door slams shut very hard. We have made sure the level is correct, but unless you hold the door by the handle until it shuts completely, it jars all the items in the door violently. Perhaps there may be some other type of adjustment, but I am not aware of it. We have grown use to it, but guest are startled when they use it the first time. I checked a display model at a home improvement store, and that one did the same thing. 2: The display on the front is hard to see. It only lights up when you open a door or push a button. I find myself fumbling to push the correct button initially. 3: Recenly the compressor is making a considerably louder noise. The unit was very quiet the first few months. It is still cooling properly, just hope that this sound is not a precursor of something worse. We will see. 4: This is not an issue for us, since there is only two in the household, but the ice maker is small. If you have a large family, you may want to get a model with a larger one, or a model with a dual ice maker. Don’t get me wrong, the ice maker works flawlessly. This is our first LG purchase. So far we are pleased, and will consider other LG products in the future.

The French door combo with the bottom freezers act as a 2-in-1 with a mini deep freezer section. Very happy with purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator. 1) the space is great and very adjustable for your needs. I’ve had several parties and I’m able get platters and drinks stored in the refrigerator 2) the ice cubes are great - they aren’t huge - just a nice size to cooll a drink down 3) I love the two freezer drawers. I wasn’t sure how well I would like this but it allows us to sort out frequently used stuff and larger stuff 4) it is way more quiet than my previous refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about 4 years the compressor had to be replaced in the 2nd unit. The first unit was replaced after service staff could not get it to cool properly. Apparently problems with the compressor are a known issue. Good thing it was under warranty. We had 2 other refrigerators in the house both of them older and cheaper to use while ours was down for the week. So, it is sad commentary when older and cheaper more dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I liked my refrigerator. The shelves were too short for drinks and having enough ice was always a problem. The freezer was uncomfortable. I could live with that, but a refrigerator should not die after 2 1/2 years. Especially after how much I paid for this one. It cost almost 3 times the price of a standard refrigerator. Maybe I should’ve gone with that. It would probably still be working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my side by side counter depth refrigerator with this wonderful stainless model. So roomy..Love the two freezer drawers. So handy to have items I need often right there without exposing the whole freezer. The drawers in the refrigeration unit are perfect and easily accessible. Plus - now I don't dread holidays because I have room for big items, trays, turkeys, or hams!! And....it really doesn't show fingerprints and it is quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this fridge for a couple of weeks. So far my wife is still saying that she loves the space and the design every time she opens it. The ice maker stays full, which is a requirement at our house. Up until now, we have had to run an extra ice maker on the cabinet to keep up with the ice eaters in our hous.

I ended up with this one which is exactly like the previous one that they replaced everything in it multiple times evey couple months especially the ice maker and its fans. This one has worked as expected. No brake downs in 2 years. I do not like the reworked ice maker water in the door. On this one you have to select ice or water button instead of having a dedicated water and dedicated ice slot as my first one has. You can't even see the button as they are not lit when you walk up so you press all over the place. Poor design all around. Both have a lot of space but the double drawer freezers seem smaller than my old original side by side door fridge.
