Great design, but no internal monitoring system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the fridge for 6 months now, but in the first month I had a cooling issue, and it took around 4 months to get fixed, and we were already out of summer, and the other thing is that the color for the water and ice release is already faded out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this refrigerator for less than 2 weeks & I have several issues with the interior design. Why are the friut & vegatable bins so wide, to access one bin you must open both doors. To access the meat & deli draw you must also open both doors. This defeats the purpose of having two door. Another issue is the doors. The door on the right which is the lighter door has an almost slowing action just before it closes. The left door which is the heaver of the two,slams shut causing the right door to open & sometimes does not close. This heavy door should have a better closing action.

We’ve had our fridge @3weeks. We bought a floor model that was similar to our 11yo LG that quit. The size is smaller but we have fewer kids at home. The upgraded water and ice dispenser is MUCH better. I like the split freezer. The previous one was a deep hole and the things that’ sunk to the bottom were never to be seen again. So far so good. I hear rumors nothing lasts over 7-8y anymore, I hope we get another decade

Purchased this refrigerator 8 months ago. Within 6 months the ice maker stopped producing ice which causes the water dispenser to also stop working. Then, the 2 bottom freezers quit working. A technician was sent out & had to order both a new compressor/motor & ice maker. The parts are on BACKORDER with no information on when they will arrive. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT PURCHASE this overpriced, defective, piece of junk.

This one replaced a huge lemon one.

I ended up with this one which is exactly like the previous one that they replaced everything in it multiple times evey couple months especially the ice maker and its fans. This one has worked as expected. No brake downs in 2 years. I do not like the reworked ice maker water in the door. On this one you have to select ice or water button instead of having a dedicated water and dedicated ice slot as my first one has. You can't even see the button as they are not lit when you walk up so you press all over the place. Poor design all around. Both have a lot of space but the double drawer freezers seem smaller than my old original side by side door fridge.

Greatest Appliance I ever bought in 50 years
