[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator in December to replace one that was about 20 years old. It was delivered in January and has been working as expected for about 10 weeks. I like that the freezer drawers close themselves and seal well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has turned out to be a great purchase. It took a bit to get used to as we always had a side by side fridge in the past. I like the adjustable shelves and drawers, and there’s plenty of storage space.

I honestly thought I was buying the best product out there Little did I know after taking out an extended warranty on the 4 major appliances the refrigerator would crap out on me on the month after the extended warranty expired Yes LG covered the compressor but it should not have broken on month 37 All my food had to be thrown out When my time comes I will look for another brand Sorry

I am extraordinarily happy with my new black stainless refrigerator. This time around I got a standard depth rather than the currently popular counter depth. This one obviously has way more room and the doors are not being nicked by hitting the side counter. I especially love the amount of room the door trays have, there is so much that fits in them. All in all it was a wise and happy experience (if one can get happy over a fridge). There are two items however which can be improved upon; a light in the lower freezer drawer and since I am handicapped I did not realize the freezer drawers slide closed unless they are held open which is difficult for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is a nice fridge keeps things cold. the only problem on the ice maker door on the front of the fridge when the compressor comes on there is a noise that sounds like something in the fridge is vibrating every time the compressor comes on. i removed everything from the door but it is still there. if you touchthe door it goes away then comes back. it does have plrenty of room except for tall things like milk and 2 liters not many places to put it.

Love the big freezer drawers, lots of space in the fridge. You can fit anything in there including pizza boxes. Unfortunately, it's not built to last. Less than 4 years and the compressor died. We got it repaired under warranty but now I worry about how much longer it will last,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to go with our new home 8 months ago. We have been very happy with it. The capacity is perfect for what we need. We love the two separate freezer drawers rather than just one big deep one. Keeps us from having to dig through the freezer. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the issue with changing out the water filter. The internal mechanism wouldn’t twist when trying to take out the filter. I had to force the filter off. Then, since the mechanism didn’t twist correctly when taking the old filter out, I couldn’t get the new filter to go on. I spent 40 minutes trying to figure out how to get it to twist. The LG online support had no answers on how to fix it, but I found several reviews from people who have had the same issue. I was finally able to find a video from a random appliance repair guy that showed how to get the mechanism to twist. After watching that video I was able to fix it and have the new filter installed quickly.

I bought a LG French door refrigerator 18 months ago. On April 2 I noticed it was not making ice nor cooling properly. I have dealt with LG and 2 of the appliance repair companies and still it is not making ice or cooling properly. Appointments have been made and cancelled twice. It is disappointing, to say the least, and it will be my last LG appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this fridge for several weeks now. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator portion. The freezer, probably because of two drawers, seems to hold a little less than our previous side by side. However, it is much easier to get to what we need with the two drawers. This fridge is much quieter than what we had before. We are so delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend this. We are also much happier than we expected to be with the stainless exterior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this refrigerator back in March and absolutely loved it, however it was damaged in shipping - cosmetic only. The seller insisted on replacing the entire unit. Due to its popularity, we had to wait three weeks for that replacement. Not long after installation of the 2nd unit, we heard a loud noise that seemed to coincide with making ice. So, this time we opened a service call and they replaced a water pump (very fast diagnosis & replacement). Since the repair two weeks ago, the fridge has been working without issue. Overall, I would recommend this refrigerator.
