The look and capacity on this is great, but the double freezer drawers thawed and then the fridge got dicey. Aww lost a huge shopping trip+. Authorized compressor replacement didn’t solve the problem, and while the compressor was covered, the expensive service was not. Neither was the expensive appliance, which was unsupported beyond the mfr’s warranty. I googled a known compressor failure (or line clog) in some LGs only after the fact. Had to buy another new fridge after a short two years. Such a shame. Usually great brand—all of our home appliances are LG! VERY disappointed in this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this LMXS28626S because it was the lesser of all the terrible refrigerators out there. My greatest hope is that this fridge doesn't start having problems before the extra 5 year warranty I purchased runs out. It already makes very strange loud noises on occasion. A current issue is that the ice maker doesn't work very well. The ice clumps up inside its very small compartment. I have to take out the container and break up the ice inside in order to dispense ice. This doesn't even happen because it's full. No, it just creates a small ball of ice on one side preventing the ice to dispense or the tray device from dumping any more ice into the container. Another issue is with the left door; if you don't catch it soon enough it will SLAM shut. The freezer drawers shut automatically very quickly so you have to use one hand to keep the drawer open an the other to put things inside. Trying to place a silicon ice tray inside a drawer without spilling is a bit of a challenge. I've had the fridge for two months now and I'm just glad it keeps my food cold and doesn't leak.

We got this fridge 5 years ago. Here are the pros and cons of this fridge. Pros: Great size for a family of five. Freezer drawers at the bottom provides easy access on frozen items, especially having 2 drawers instead of only 1 deep drawer. Cons: Ice makers started leaking water after 1 years, so we stopped using it. Compressor went out this year (2023) right before Thanksgiving. The diagnosing tool on their LG app is useless, because the fridge is completely broken and it still said no issue was detected. New fridge doesn't last as long as they are used to anymore.

Make the ice tray larger or a way to dump into the lower freezer section. And the biggie is the center hinge closure seems loud and flimsy.

I thought I did but love it its great for the 2 young men I have and myself we each have a couple shelves and each have a freezer part yaaaaayy. Love the look love how stylish it is it looks great in my freshly painted kitchen I've put alot of work into anything I do and this make my kitchen look a 100xs better.

The best thing is how big it is with the ice maker tucked neatly in the door. The ice cubes are a little too small and the dispenser button go to “sleep” making switching between ice and water aggravating at times.

The amount of space is excellent, Life's Good, see what I did there? I recently reached out to LG customer service with feedback on the fridge. The icemaker consistently accumulates a ball of ice cubes at the back of the icemaker, this occurs without fail each time ice is made. I also suggested the wording on the touch pad of the door dispenser need to be lit or written in white lettering. It is very difficult to read the selection options prior to pressing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge 6 months ago and we love it. The fridge is super flexible as far as configurations. It has a ton of room for everything you need. Only downside is that the ice tends to melt and clump which is easily fixed by giving the bucket a tap. Admittedly, we don't use the ice very frequently. Another smart design is putting the filter in the upper left which is more accessible than the previous fridge we had.
