[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG was good for the repair, but a 2.5 year old appliance should not have that major of a repair. The repair man said he replaces the compressor on these units often. I’m sad thinking I spent so much money to think after 5 years when the compressor goes out it will be just a chunk of useless metal or I can spend a lot of money to fix it. ☹️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently remodeled our entire kitchen after 22 years. I had no idea how badly we need a new refrigerator. This one is the best! It’s easy easy to access anything. Everything is right at eye and reach level. The dual freezer drawers make it easy to separate everyday items from items used occasionally. The meat and vegetable drawer keep them as fresh as if they just came from the grocery store. They stay fresh much much longer. I love this fridge!!!

I am impressed with all features, especially the water filter that removes pharmaceuticals, not many refrigerator filtration systems offer this. The ability to use the app to run diagnosis and send to customer service is brilliant. LG provides great warranty service that is unbeatable by most other companies. This is a pricey refrigerator, the most I have ever spent on one, but I am extremely happy with this product during my first few weeks of using it. You can definitely hear it working at certain points throughout the day but not distracting at all. It is a top-notch product!

We have 4 adults living in the house and we run out of ice often. My wife loves her yeti full of ice so she uses a lot. If you don’t need or use much ice this would be an awesome refrigerator. I wish that we would have installed an extra ice maker in the freezer compartment. All the other features are great. The black stainless is beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a power surge burned our old fridge, we got this one from the blue and yellow store. Quality is a lot better than our old kenmore and even when they were about the same cu-ft, the LG seems to fit a lot more food. My kids love the top freezer drawer since we keep ice cream bars and cones there. The one thing that took some time to get used to is the weight of the left side door. That's where the ice maker and water dispenser are and is quite heavy. You need to hold it otherwise it slams and I'm afraid with time is going to damage it. Overall happy with the fridge. Family of four here with 2 boys that eat like there's no tomorrow. Loving the LG brand. Got a 4K TV and is quite impressive. Slowly going to keep buying their products if they keep up the quality/price range.

I bough the fridge not too long ago. I'm happy with most of features except that the icemaker stopped working and it was not an easy thing to contact LG Electronics with the fridge department. I would be very happy if the icemaker did not stop working that soon and LG contact process was easier.

Refrigerator has been in use for 1 month and we love! Lots of room for just about anything and plenty of extra compartments. Having 2 freezer spaces is great for separating food items. Is the "PrintProof Finish, a standard feature on all the LG refrigerators? It was a big reason I purchased it. The LG booklet makes no mention of this feature anywhere . Hopefully it has it . So far I have not noticed smudges. Is there a reason it is not even mentioned in the booklet? How can I confirm my refrigerator has it?

The look and capacity on this is great, but the double freezer drawers thawed and then the fridge got dicey. Aww lost a huge shopping trip+. Authorized compressor replacement didn’t solve the problem, and while the compressor was covered, the expensive service was not. Neither was the expensive appliance, which was unsupported beyond the mfr’s warranty. I googled a known compressor failure (or line clog) in some LGs only after the fact. Had to buy another new fridge after a short two years. Such a shame. Usually great brand—all of our home appliances are LG! VERY disappointed in this.
