The door open warning chime goes off way to early and is annoying. I'd make it so you could change the time on the chime. Also the doors slam shut it would be nice if the drawers and doors had a feature to slowly shut them, much like cabinets do...Other than that we love the size and the features.

Repair issues within 9 months!

Waited a couple days for service to arrive, then they order the board and get it installed only for it to fail within hours of them leaving. So, another call and order placed for circuit board and heating element. Estimated a day or so for parts to come in. Still waiting on heating element and now telling me two more days for first available appointment to install heating element (that is supposed to arrive today) and circuit board. That will be 2 days short of 2 weeks without a fridge. Not what I would expect from a somewhat high end "new" fridge.

What we like: Spacious, quiet, efficient space organization in refrigerator and the two freezer drawers. For us, the ice compartment being in the door and not using precious refrigerator space was big plus. For families needing a lot of ice, it may be an issue. Suggestion for improvement: the temperature represents set temperatures and no option for internal temperature. Knowing internal temperature would have been nice to have, recognizing that it will not be accurate as actual temperature is not being measured.

Most of the refrigerator has ice maker in the main refrigeration area, taking the storage area. This refrigerator also have another great feature which is having two separate freezer space, so you don't have to dig in deep like one freezer design.

Not a dependable product

The compressor has failed on this unit and I have been without a refrigerator for a month. Serviceman replaced compressor and refrigerator still didn’t cool. Serviceman came back and said that the circuit board was bad and LG would not cover under warranty. Recommended replacing refrigerator. Not a good product if you can’t depend on it.
