[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just two weeks in and we’re very impressed. Quiet operation, flexible shelf configurations, makes ice really fast! A very attractive refrigerator. We like the Wi-Fi interface, too. It’s cool (no pun intended) to be able to see temperature settings, energy usage, even the number of times we open the doors on my phone.

I did a lot of shopping and comparing products and prices before making my purchase and am thoroughly happy with this product. The dual ice maker is great. The insta-view door is a great feature but I don't use it as much as I thought. I still would buy it again though. The only thing I would like to see is stainless on the sides of lime the front.. but in my case it will be concealed into a built in cabinetry.The deal was great and the customer service was excellent I would definitely recommend the LG French door refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time with a French door fridge. So far, I'm pretty happy over all. LOTS of shelf space inside cabinet. Really only one door pocket that can hold large juice or milk cartons. Ice maker takes up much of left door. Temperature is consistent. It runs very quietly except when it dumps fresh ice into the holding compartment. Strong smells (stinky cheese, etc) tend to permeate the whole fridge, even if they are well wrapped and placed in a drawer, and baking soda is open. I like the separate freezer spaces, although if you have a large family, you may need to remove the auxiliary ice tray to have enough room for essentials. It's nice that it can produce 2 types of ice, and the light in the water dispenser is handy, though I wish it would dispense with the right door open. Overall very satisfied EXCEPT: if either door is open for more than 60 seconds, there is a loud chime that you CAN NOT turn off! This is incredibly annoying and dumb. I'm all for efficiency, but sometimes in life, you need the door open for more than a minute: loading in groceries, taking inventory, carrying a heavy pot from the stove etc. I now stare into my fridge looking for items with dread because I know the stupid chime is coming. There's no mention of it in the owner's manual, and the online forums will tell you that you can hit the "Lock" button to turn it off, but that's only to stop the current chime. Even if you close the door mid-chime, it continues to ring 3 times, and it's loud enough to hear on another floor, which is especially bad when people are sleeping. Energy consciousness is good, but this is just poor, short-sighted design. They should work out a hot fix. So, Good: roomy, quiet, consistent temp, thoughtful shelving. Bad: you will be judged by your appliance routinely for having the audacity to browse its roomy contents, and your whole household will know you've been found guilty.

We inherited a LG refrigerator at our other home so when it came time to replace the one at our 2nd home we chose a newer model. Key features include: ice maker built into the door (saving space) + love the small cubes. Also, 2 bottom freezer drawers hold more than our previous side freezer (same capacity). The main compartment has lots of feature/shelf customization choices - perfectly allowing us to configure the unit to our usage pattern. Finally, the wifi connectivity will alert you if someone leaves the door open.

No need to open the refrigerator doors to get to a pitcher of cold water. I keep a plastic cup on the shelf beneath the water spout and have been drinking water as my doctor says is so vital.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a great experience with my first LG so when we moved I bought another just like it. I love the two freezer drawers. Was concerned when the ice maker went out after six months. So far LG has taken care of it. Should be replaced soon.

Bought this three years ago we’re great at first all of a sudden totally quit waited three months for them to fix it living out of a cooler until I finally got fed up and bought a another fridge when they did come to fix it it was freezing things in the refrigerator and then completely fine things in the freezer major fluctuation in temperature

Unfortunately the ice maker quit after 6 months of use. Repair man replaced with new ice maker and it didn’t work for 4 days and now it works. Not sure what is going on- but it doesn’t leave me with an easy feeling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is about a month old so far its great . fridge temp is 4 degrees low, but manual says internal temp and door reading could be off, they are. Installers from H D were a bit suspect but I am good mechanically so no problem . I am trying to find out , with no luck if you don't close door all the way is their an alarm? Call me 5 years from now to see if it lasts that long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought out first home and decided this was the refrigerator for us. It's great, it has a lot of space and is easy to clean. I love that you can change the settings for the drawers based on what you have in them (Fruit, Veggies, Dairy) and everything is done with a touch (no notches). In addition, the water and ice dispenser works great and also works with a touch. One great thing that I also love is the chime noise it makes if you leave the door open.
