We bought this refrigerator last August and were very excited, having gotten spectacular reviews from our sales person. The features are great although the icemaker is small and you will run out of ice if there are more than two of you in the house. Whenever we have guests, we buy ice to have on hand when this happens. The worst happened last month though when the refrigerator suddenly shut off. Luckily we were at home and have a second refrigerator. Luckily we are still under warranty. However, by the time a repair person came out, diagnosed a broken compressor and ordered the part, and then installed it, it was 11 days. Not good. He told us that he had 7 other customers that week whose compressors broke. Apparantly, this is a know problem and LG is putting in a different compressor in new refrigerators. Our replacement compressor is the same old unreliable model so we can expect this to happen again. Not good.

At the time of purchase I bought 3 other LG appliances. So far we needed our oven and fridge fixed. I would think twice about purchasing an LG appliance.

I has great flexibility in shelf space and a lot of drawer space. Would be 5 star but the feet adjustments and door levelers were sooo difficult to move that u was worried about stripping the threads. I never did get the front right foot down but I was finally able to get the doors level after calling customer support.

Only things that not too much love about is the middle part of the door inside that sort of on the way when it open until get used to it. But I love this style and easy to put things organized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new refrigerator for less than 2 weeks, but can't say enough about the spacious fridge. I had family home for Thanksgiving and I had 7 gallons of milk, 2 orange juice, 2 big jars of tea, 2 liters of soda...all on the main shelves...and still space for everything else. I love the 2 freezer drawers. The only downfall being you have to lay frozen pizzas down and stack things on top of them. In a deeper freezer you can stand them up against the sides. Still getting used to it, but I like it! The only other thing I've noticed, with the ice maker right on the door, it seems kind of loud every time it drops ice. And the ice capacity is rather small. But I knew that ahead of time. You just have to plan ahead and dump the ice into the freezer drawer to stockpile if you plan on using a bunch.

We bought our new LG refrigerator to replace our 14 year old one that recently conked out. Love to black satin steel finish and the overall size of it. We have an LG washer/dryer set that we purchased about 12 years ago and they've been great, so we thought why not try one of their refrigerators. We're glad we did!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the wide deli tray drawer, the adjustable glass shelves and the two compartmentalized freezer drawers. The in the door storage on the door is convenient and sturdy. The ice-maker seems efficient and the stainless surface is easy to keep clean.

The water from this refrigerator is cold enough but the taste is not improved by the filter. After running at least 4 gallons through the lines, water still has a moldy/plastic taste. I will change the filter to see if that helps. The refrigerator also arrived with a dent in the top freezer drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this 4 years ago and it has been a great refrigerator until the end of January when the compressor stopped working. luckily we purchased the 5 year warranty so it didn't cost us anything to get it fixed. But it is a great refrigerator and it has a very good ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control board and the linear compressor both went out at the 10 month mark. Apparently, LG has been having a problem with their linear compressors. Do some serious research before you consider purchasing one of their refrigerators with a linear compressor.
