Unlike my previous side by side, I haven't been able to fill the refrigerator compartment. It's huge. I like how the ice maker doesn't take up much room and is hidden in the door. The water and air filters are in very convenient locations. I no longer have to get down on my knees to change the water filter! The door ajar reminder is nice. Although I don't use the WiFi, I'm sure others would like the tech. All in all I'm initially pleased. Let's hope this continues for a long time.

The shelves in the doors frees up space in the main compartments. With the lift up part of one shelf, I can put gallon of milk and 2 two liter sodas. The slim ice maker doesn’t use up space in the main part of the fridge. My fridge has never been so organized. Last refrigerator was noisy. My LG is very quiet. I also like having two drawers for freezer so easy to keep organized. Define toy would recommend this fridge.

expensive costly mess

The is a terrible refrigerator. Has a faulty compressor that fails. Cost us over $500 in food. The LG app is worse than worthless, it is dangerous. Even after a complete compressor failure it continued to tell me everything was fine. As someone told me, if you buy and LG geet a second one from another brand so you have someplace to put your food when the LG fails. Further, LG new of the issue and never notified us to have them look at it. Told everyone I know to stay away from LG.

My only disappointment is that the refrigerator and top drawer have wonderful lighting but the bottom freezer drawer has no light. It isn’t really a problem however. Love the layout but problem with the doors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in 2018. It's been a great fridge, but the fridge doors don't seal properly. Because they are french doors, there is a piece that swivels and seals the door, which is supposed to be automatic, but it gets stuck so I have to reach in and close it with my hand every time I shut the doors. Our compressor recently went out and LG replaced it because it was under the 5 year warranty.
