Check your model number as several models LG has a CLASS ACTION LAWSIUT AGAINST THEM for this issue. Their customer service is awful. I will never purchase an LG appliance again, and highly discourage anyone else too.

I especially like that the ice maker is in the door, so it doesn't take up too much room. The two freezer drawers are convenient. The ice is on the smaller side, so it is easier to get into my water bottles. Thanks for a great fridge/freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our 22-year-old side-by-side and after a lot of research we decided on this LG and we are very happy we did. The refrigerator is very roomy, the adjustable shelves are convenient and the two-drawer freezer section makes organizing items extremely easy. The outside does indeed resist fingerprints. The ice/water dispenser provides plenty of ice and allows for our tallest containers. Overall, we are very happy with everything about the LMXS28626S.

This is our first fridge that is not a side by side and we love the two draw freezer that allows us to keep the frozen items that we use more often in the top draw eliminating the need to open the whole freezer. There is more space in the refrigerator to organize the food. Love the look of the LG and it makes our whole kitchen look brand new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about a year. The lack of ice is disheartening. The freezer does a nice job. The filters are not the easiest to change out either and do not seem to last a full 6 months. I do not like that the ice/water area do not have a light that you can see the buttons at night. Overall the space works out well for us. I wish we would have seen a review similar to this before purchasing.

I've had my new fridge for about a year, and I love the slim line ice maker and water dispenser. I like that it tells me when the filters need to be replaced, and they are easy to get and replace. The finish is easy to keep clean, and I like the layout of the interior.

The aluminum exterior is easy to care for if you keep up with it. it is very attractive and performs well. It has wi-fi capability which I think is a joke. This is the second LG French Door model we’ve purchased. The first we purchased about 5yrs ago and is still in our old home, we loved it. This one is not as good. I don’t like having to switch between dispensing water or ice, old model had two different levers. We like the second freezer drawer but because of it we loose vertical space in the refrigerator. In the old one we could set up even the door shelves to accommodate champagne bottles, this one has limited shelve configuration and lacks the ability to store taller items. I miss my old fridge.

I was given the appropriate initial set of water filter and ice maker instructions. This appliance works wonderfully. There is plenty of room for food items. The 2-drawer freezer compartments are great. I can see every in the freezer without having to move items around. It purrs like a kitten. This was a great find.
