My freezer started going out. The techs on the phone were pleasant and very helpful. I was sent text updates. The compressor was going out (was going to be recalled). My service guy, Ted, texted me and I was able to leave work and meet him instead of sitting home during my promised "window.". Ted explained what was going on and accomplished a fix, left his card in case I needed anything further or had an issues. Love my LG appliances!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this fridge for a month or so now and it's really great. This is our 2nd LG fridge and we're really happy with both. The main reasons we bought this model involved the freezer drawers and the capacity. This is a HUGE fridge in terms of interior space. That means we can pack it with plenty of fresh food without creating warm spots and stressing the compressor. The freezer drawer handles are just handles. Some of the other models and brands we looked at employ some kind of sketchy plastic sliding tab arrangement where the drawer handle pivots to actuate a locking mechanism that opens the drawer. To us, that mechanism looked like it would break in a matter months so we were very happy to find regular drawers on this model. For us it's ideal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the features and size of this refrigerator. It holds quite a bit. However, it's not very reliable. We've had cooling issues with it twice in just over three years and had to have the compressor replaced recently.

The lighting is very good, although I would have liked a light in the bottom freezer drawer just like what's in the top freezer drawer. I do like the display as well which shows both the temperature of the refrigerator and the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed in this product. The handles and outside show every mark and fingerprint. The shelves are not tall enough even for a juice or milk bottle unless you take out a shelf. To get to the draws you need to open both doors and the outside water dispenser is not tall enough to fit my water bottle without using two hands.

I think it’s too early for compressor to go bad but LG service was great for it to get replaced. I just hoped that they would send LG technician rather than the third party vendor for repairs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek design, very quiet and smudge proof exterior. Plenty of room inside fridge, with ice maker on door. I also like the half shelf to allow taller items. I find the 2 freezer drawers makes it easier and faster to find what I'm looking for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about a year. The lack of ice is disheartening. The freezer does a nice job. The filters are not the easiest to change out either and do not seem to last a full 6 months. I do not like that the ice/water area do not have a light that you can see the buttons at night. Overall the space works out well for us. I wish we would have seen a review similar to this before purchasing.

Only one issue has occurred recently in that when you fill water from the dispenser occasionally the paddle switch will stick causing the water not shut off, have to open the door to stop the flow. This seems to be a design issue with the spring behind the paddle. Otherwise great fridge.

No matter how many gallons of water we have taken out of the door, the water continues to smell and taste of chemicals. The dealer was happy to offer a replacement. The only other complaint I have with the design, is that the shelves on the left door are too wide for 1 bottle depth and too narrow for 2 bottles--this means that every time you shut the door the bottles slide and crash! Not that way on my old LG.
