Some of the bad would be shelving does not have adjustable shelving like our old refrigerator and the ice maker is very limited in ice making make sure you have extra before any gathering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet operating refrigerator that keeps the temperature constant at the setting stated. Ice maker is compact and located in the left door. Only problem is the right door does not close when pushed lightly. The door accually bounces open (only slightly) when pushed lightly. All the other 3 doors will pull closed when pushed lightly. Luckily there is a beeping sound that alerts you when the door stays open. Called tech support and a service person came out. The technician said that's normal for that refrigerator.

I knew I would like the extra refrigerator space. I have really liked the 2 drawer freezer. Great easy access to everything. I absolutely made the right choice with this refrigerator!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great refrigerator! Easy to see what's inside, lots of space. Ice machine and filter don't take up a lot of space inside. Ice maker works beautifully. You have to dump ice into a larger container (which is provided), in freezer section. Well lighted. Doors don't shut automatically, which is good! Doors must be purposely shut. There's a bell to alert if the door is open. Stainless steel doesn't show all the finger prints. Easy to wipe clean. Freezer has two shallow drawers. Bottom one is largest. Frozen food doesn't get lost or forgotten about because it's easy to see.

I bought this fridge a little 3 months ago…it is truly the worst appliance I have ever used. A total nightmare. Does not cool; food keeps spoiling…now white powdery stuff is falling from ice and water dispenser. Don’t buy this LG model. This particular fridge is a total lemon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator for awhile now. It works well -- except for the mullion on the french door. The mullion is the small flap that opens and closes on the left french door to seal the doors. The mullion has a small button that engages with the refrigerator and opens the mullion to close the door. Ours has consistently misaligned and keeps the door from closing properly. We have had repair guy out more than once for the issue. In fact, he was here two weeks ago and we still experience the issue. We have to be extra cautious to make sure the door is closed properly and even manually flip open the mullion to close the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG french door refrigerator and I couldn’t be happier. I love the quality. Everything works as it should. I was worried at the beginning about water dripping from the water/ice door dispenser but the owners manual stated that this was to be expected at the beginning and it has now stopped. This is a beautiful fridge with wonderful use of space and an all around winner.

The door open warning chime goes off way to early and is annoying. I'd make it so you could change the time on the chime. Also the doors slam shut it would be nice if the drawers and doors had a feature to slowly shut them, much like cabinets do...Other than that we love the size and the features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this unit since July of 2018, and it worked really well till November of 2021 when the compressor stopped working. On the morning of the day the LG tech came out the compressor started working by itself out of the blue after not working for a couple of days. The tech updated the firmware and did a routine check of the entire unit. Fast forward to June of 2022 (8 months later) and the compressor stops working again. This time it completely fails. Called LG tech support and they sent out the same tech (who btw was very polite and answered all my questions.) I asked him what causes a compressor to go out twice on a unit that is a little over 4 years old. He mentioned that some of these compressors have issues from the factory and that it's an industry wide problem/issue (other manufactures have the same compressor issue - AKA, they don't make compressors like they used to back in the day). Good thing LG has a warranty that is 5 years labor and 10 years for the compressor. Overall, LG did help me out and since I lost many food and medical items that were in the unit both times, LG sent me a check to cover the losses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit last month- Pro-Great value for the price. Con- Door Water reservoir and ice maker storage are smaller than you are accustomed to. Temp display is not actual temp in unit- only "Target Setting". You need thermometer to verify for frig and freezer
