[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this refrigerator for about two months now, and the water and ice still have that bad taste to it. I have followed the manufacturer's instructions about running 2.5 gallons through the system times 4 and emptied the ice bin times 4 but it still tastes bad. It's getting better but they need to change the instructions or fix the reason for the terrible taste. Water coming from my faucet is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is beautiful and very spacious. I have just a few issues with it. The ice cubes are very small and have a tendency to stick together when the bin gets filled up. I would also like a light in the bottom freezer like the one in the top freezer. Another feature that is a small problem is the stationary plastic shield on top of the slide out deli drawer. It restricts being able to easily fit items in the drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the versatility of it. Very roomy and easliy configured to my needs.It's great that the fridge and freezer temps are prominent. I've used the provided ice bin in the top freezer drawer to stock the ice as the ice maker doesn't hold much. It's worked well. The only thing I'm not fond of is the chilled water isn't much cooler than regular tap water, so you must use ice if you really want chilled water. It also doesn't hold more than one glass (16 oz.) worth that is "chilled".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our 1st LG (25cf) refrigerator in the Fall of 2008 when we moved into our new home. Unfortunately while we were on a short vacation, that refrigerator decided to stop running. It must have happened the day we left because all of the food, including the frozen food, was completely thawed and spoiled. Being Seniors and on a fixed income, this has turned into a costly expense for us. We loved our LG refrigerator so we didn’t hesitate on buying another. We were very religious on pulling it out every October and April to take the back off and clean it thoroughly but after 14 years, I guess the compressor failed. This area where the refrigerator sits is not surrounded by cabinets. It is an open area on 2 sides with no cabinets at the top either so it has excellent ventilation. The only thing I have a negative comment on is the right hand drawer, which we use for meat and cheeses, is used a lot, but cannot be opened fully because of the flap on the left hand door so both doors have to be opened. We do love the bigger drawers and the bigger shelves on the inside of the doors. We are also glad to see you left the large drawer at the bottom for those celebration food trays. Hopefully we will see another 14 years with this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this new refrigerator for 4 months and am very pleased with my purchase. It is spacious and easy to keep clean. I love that the ice-maker doesn't take up precious space in the refrigerator! The vegetable and fruit bins do an excellent job of keeping the food fresh much longer than my old fridge. The double freezer drawers make it much easier to locate the items you want. Well designed!

Couple little things though; The light inside sometimes does not come on, but short while later does. Thought it was possibly during often or extended door opening and closing. Had frost build in one of freezer drawers. Noticed that seal was not touching in that area. Fiddled with drawer and have peaked at it often since and seems to be sealing properly now. Early on had a noise like fan or something like that spinning and dinging off something. Could make noise worse or disappear by pulling or pushing on upper front of fridge. Have not heard it in week or two now. Leveled fridge during the time this noise was coming and going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new refrigerator for less than 2 weeks, but can't say enough about the spacious fridge. I had family home for Thanksgiving and I had 7 gallons of milk, 2 orange juice, 2 big jars of tea, 2 liters of soda...all on the main shelves...and still space for everything else. I love the 2 freezer drawers. The only downfall being you have to lay frozen pizzas down and stack things on top of them. In a deeper freezer you can stand them up against the sides. Still getting used to it, but I like it! The only other thing I've noticed, with the ice maker right on the door, it seems kind of loud every time it drops ice. And the ice capacity is rather small. But I knew that ahead of time. You just have to plan ahead and dump the ice into the freezer drawer to stockpile if you plan on using a bunch.

Some of the bad would be shelving does not have adjustable shelving like our old refrigerator and the ice maker is very limited in ice making make sure you have extra before any gathering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this fridge due to the smooth functioning drawers and the versatile layout. We appreciate the large pullout deli drawer. Our only wish would be to have a fold-up top so that you could access it without opening the double doors. All in all, we really love the fridge.
