This fridge is decent at its job, the water dispenser is a nice addition. The ice maker frequently freezes over, requiring to take out the tray and unclog. The double doors are nice, but to get to even open some the drawers the whole fridge must be opened. The whole fridge also just decided to leak all the refrigerant out into my house, causing all items to spoil, and getting sick for a couple of days. It took over a week for repair, but thankfully LG covered it. I would not recommend LG refrigerators (look up their years of issues with their compressors). I do not trust this to keep my food cold. Buyer beware.

I lost lots of vegetables and fruits. LG rep recognized the problem through thinQ and called me about the issue. They replaced the old one with a new one.

This allows more space to store food in the refrigerator. Great design feature and was the selling point for our decision.

The compressor needs to be replaced. And I think the sealing ? Needs to be replaced. The problem is being worked on but it has been a couple weeks. It looks like about another week still...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a 10 year old side by side, this fridge has so much more space, my wife absolutely loves it, and takes it as a personal challenge to fill it up. We love the double freezer drawers, makes it very easy to organize our freezer items. The ice maker is small and doesn't hold much ice, but there is a sliding container I the top freezer drawer to store excess ice for parties. The water dispenser shoots water put pretty forcefully, so watch for splashes. Overall it was a great buy.

Water and ice dispenser through the door. You can get even crushed ice etc type without opening your fridge. It alarms you if by mistake you fridge left open. Double freezer drawers allow for ease o removin frozen items without having to dig through layers of frozen items. Definitely enough storage in freezer and refrigerator for a family. Ultimate in storage and organization.Would definitely purchase again and refer to a friend.

The only thing I didn't like was there is only one half shelf. I would like to see a half shelf on both side so you can choose which side to use half shelf or to use the half shelves on both sides if you like.

I love that the ice-maker doesn't take up precious space in the refrigerator! The vegetable and fruit bins do an excellent job of keeping the food fresh much longer than my old fridge.
