Ice and water work great, fingerprintless front finish is amazing (though NOT magnetic, so good opportunity for that stuff to go elsewhere!) Layout of drawers is perfect for our needs - family of 2 humans, a cat and dog (they have their own shelf for their goodies.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We actually bought this fridge/freezer in 2018. It's been serviced under warranty basically every single year since. We had a new door installed to replace the entire control board last year. I'm on my 3rd ice maker, all of which I've had to pay for and install myself. The compressor blew 3 weeks ago and there are no warranty service technicians available until this week. This was the single worst appliance purchase I've made in my lifetime. I'll not buy another LG fridge.

What joy to replace it with this LG with French doors that make for spacious shelves, and that quietly makes ice and reliably dispenses water. It does exactly what I want it to do—that makes me happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Lg fridge after checking into every fridge possible! I am very pleased with the french door style. I have yet to try the water and ice dispenser since I wanted to make sure the lines were clear of dust etc. The fridge has been quiet from the start which was a concern of ours. I love how bright the interior is and the holding area for the ice is on the door rather than inside the fridge taking up extra room. There is sooo much room in the fridge I feel like I need to go shopping to fill it up!! So far so good!

Part refrigerator as I was moving into a new home at first everything was well then we constantly started having trouble with the icemaker not either making ice dropping ice. The features are great but like I said, icemaker is lacking in capacity and very rarely works.

My fridge is only 3 years and the compressor is out. No wonder the class lawsuit in progress… how can a company promise that their compressor would last at least 12 years if not 20, when it can’t last even 3? Linear compressor architecture… on top of all bad engineering. Very, very dissaponting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the whole set for our new kitchen in July. Love the black stainless steel. Looks real sharp and does not show the finger prints. For some reason the middle and bottom freezer does not keep our ice cream frozen. Was set to -6 degrees. No ice build up and 7was not overloaded, technician checked the temp which was 19 degrees. Does not make sense. Icemaker quit in November just had it replaced in the beginning of February. Keeping our fingers crossed. The jury is still out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A month ago we purchased our LG French door refrigerator. We love the adjustable shelves, the two drawer freezer, and the wide storage in the doors. The indoor ice and cool water dispenser is nice, but there isn't much ice storage so we go through all the ice quickly. The smudge proof stainless steel is wonderdul, however the door handles show every touch.

I really like the refrigerator however it was extremely, extremely difficult to get through a regular door size. They had to take the doors off, and I had to take the door off the hinges in the house. Also, the icemaker leaves a little bit to be desired. And my one big ripe is the fact that they don’t have a small river removable shelf that goes on the outside of the refrigerator door when getting ice or water. It splashes down and it goes onto the other two freezer drawers. But yes, I do like it.
